Sanam Ghandehari

  Sanam has been two times recipient of Human Rights Fellowship which lead to her to have a placement at the United Nations Headquarter in New York. She also served as a board member of Amnesty International Group and became the student liaison for American Immigration Law Association (AILA). Being an immigrant and knowing the challenges that immigrants facing to integrate into workplaces, Sanam has conducted extensive research on work place discrimination against immigrants and interned at Equal Employment Opportunity Committee, EEOC.

Sanam devoted most of her time to represent immigrants in thier removal proceedings at Ne York Immigrtion Court. She has also represented hundreds of abondoned and neglected children from Central America in New York  Family Courts as part of their Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ) cases.  

Sanam has  a vast experience in representing unaccompanied, abused, or neglected children in various immigration courts including New York and Minnesota immigration courts and New York Family Courts. She belives represeniting vulnerable children and protecting theoir rights is is one of the most rewarsding work one can do as an attorney.
