I have been practicing law for 46 years. I have been an Attorney for the Child since 2001 and was also an Attorney for the Child as a Law Guardian in the 1980s. I have handled many appeals and have argued cases in the Appellate Division, the Appellate Term, and the New York State Court of Appeals. I am admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. I excel at brief writing, research, and oral argument. I used to represent all types of litigants when I was in private practice. I will represent clients in appeals, and I will write a brief or memo of law for clients. I love representing children and am a strong advocate for their best interests. I also represent adults on appeal.
As indicated, I will write briefs (trial and appellate) and memoranda of law for clients. Please contact me if interested.

Absolutely amazing AFC
Ronna was truly a godsend. After years of chaos, legal battles, and being pulled back into court through an appeal, she was assigned to my children to advocate on their behalf. Having her as their advocate has been such a blessing. She carefully reviewed everything, saw the truth clearly, and wrote a...

Dedicated
Ronna represented my foster daughter during a parental termination appeal. It was a very long, scary and difficult time for our family as she had become a very important part of lives and we hoped to adopt her. "I endorse this lawyer. Very dedicated and passionate about her work, We worked on a complex family court appeal and successfully got a favorable outcome for each of our respective clients,"
"I've known Ronna for several years in her capacity as an attorney for children who practices primarily at the appellate level. I serve as an attorney for children mainly in the Family Court; I also represent my clients when their cases go up on appeal. Ronna has generously shared her time and knowledge with me when I have sought her advice about appellate practice, and I have always appreciated her insights and assistance. I endorse her as a wonderful colleague and a fun person to know."
"I endorse this lawyer. I have been a trial lawyer for over 45 years but do not generally handle appeals. Ronna has written the appeals on two matters, both as respondent and appellant, that originated in the Family Court in which I was trial counsel, and been successful in each instance. Her knowledge of the substantive law is impressive, her research solid and her written advocacy, persuasive. Her knowledge of, and insight into the trial record after she reviewed it was comforting. Having not spoken to her much about the case beforehand, I was surprised with the depth of her understanding of the issues on appeal. I am happy to endorse her to my colleagues."
"I endorse this lawyer. Ronna is very thorough in her research and knowledge. She knows the system and fights to be the best. This is clear."
"I endorse Ronna without reservation. She has demonstrated an exceptional grasp of the law and has the skills of a superb litigator."
"Keen attention to detail with exceptional client service. One of the best family law attorneys there is. I endorse this lawyer."
"I wholeheartedly endorse this lawyer. A top-notch attorney, highly respected in the legal community."
