Arbitration 20%

FINRA, JAMS and AAA arbitrations are more common now that most employers require employees to consent to adjudicate employment disputes in confidential arbitration forums. We regularly handle client disputes and look forward to handling litigations.

Litigation 15%

We negotiate / mediate client matters, and when a fair result cannot be obtained, we litigate cases involving non-competes, trade secrets, bonus and deferred compensation, discrimination and wrongful termination in all courts and arbitration forums.

Discrimination 10%

We handle discrimination cases asserting gender, national origin, race, skin color, age, religion, familial status, disability, retaliation or sexual orientation. You are protected by City, State and Federal Laws. I was a mediator for the EEOC.

Expungement 5%

We routinely handle the negotiation of U-5s, and we file FINRA Arbitrations to expunge a negative, defamatory, incomplete or false U-5 filing. The U-5 is a minefield, often branding employees as bad actors, impairing one's re-employment prospects.

Fierce Advocate

I first became aware of Jonathan when he represented a former employee of my then current firm. I was head of HR and dealt with the matter for the firm. I had seen him in action from the "other" side. Several months later when I needed a lawyer, he was my first and only choice and it was a good on...e. He is a tireless and ferocious advocate for his clients and I believe intimidated the other side. He negotiated a much better settlement than the one I was offered. Yes, he is edgy, doesn't suffer fools very well on either side of the dispute, but at the end of the day is a very decent human being - (don't tell anybody).

Successful outcome, professional, efficient

My employer did not honor a contract. Jonathan helped me to get the money that I deserved. He and his team bring intensity and get the job done. I recommend Jonathan to those that wish to pursue a FINRA suit.

Public Company Director

Jonathan has the experience, toughness and dedication to fight for you. He won't waste your time, he will tell you the truth when it comes to your case, both good and bad. I highly recommend him and his team. I want him on my side in any dispute. He was recommended to me by one of the top corpor...ate law firms in the country.

Delivered

Jonathan negotiated more severance from my former employer. He was to the point, kept me informed, and we settled the matter in a reasonable amount of time -- approximately two months. I was very satisfied with the results.

You want him on your side

I was terminated from my job at an investment bank, and was treated unfairly. I went to several employment attorneys, and they all refused my case becasue there was no "smoking gun." Jonathan was able to get me what I deserved. His best skill is good-old-fashioned tenacity. You want him on your s...ide. Period.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
