My case is very complex that involves a law not a lot of people (even lawyers!) are familiar about —Child Status Protection Act. I have been to 4 different lawyers in three states (NJ, NY, PA), none of them attempted to take my case for different reasons - the first two weren’t familiar with it, the ...third and fourth one said that my case was very risky and they weren’t willing to take it on. After almost giving up, I ended up setting an appointment with Dennis Ortiguera after reading reviews of him on different websites. From the get-go, while he admitted that my case is difficult, he said that there is a LEGAL BASIS and we went from there. Nine months after submitting my I-485 case, he accompanied me to my interview. Not surprising due to the complexity of my case, the officer had already cancelled my green card even before we were called in, but Dennis argued my case and 40 minutes after, the officer reversed her decision and I am now expecting my green card to arrive in the mail anytime soon. Dennis is an honest, excellent, lawyer. He knows the case thoroughly and having him at the interview gave me peace of mind.
