This law firm is primarily interested in your money. There is a $250 consult fee. During this consultation, there are absolutely NO guarantee of useful information. He can simply use this time to advertise himself instead of helping you and try to convince you to give him a retainer. If $250/hour is ...his fee, you can imagine how much the retainer is. I contacted this law firm because my employer refused to pay me for the last two months of work. I'm strapped for money and need to pursue the employer to get them to pay me for the work done. At this point if my lawyer wants to drain the few dollars I have left, how am I supposed to survive? There needs to be a law which mandates that attorneys work on commission at least 30% of the cases. These rates are just plain ridiculous. Big corporations might be able to afford that but how can an average person who has employment issues afford that kind of money??
