Natalia V Shishkin

Natalia Shishkin has specialized in employment law exclusively since she was admitted to the bar in 2007.  She advises clients on a wide variety of employment and labor law issues, including employment agreements, employee compensation, discipline and terminations, as well as claims of discrimination, harassment and retaliation.   

Ms. Shishkin represents clients in litigation in state and federal courts, as well as before state and federal agencies, including the New Jersey Department of Labor, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights.  In recent years, she handled numerous administrative proceedings relating to unemployment compensation benefits, unpaid wages and overtime.

During the first several years of her legal career, Ms. Shishkin represented predominantly employees.  Having advised hundreds of clients who are faced with problems related to their employment she has developed insight into the underlying reasons for claims of unfair and unlawful treatment and effective strategies how to avoid or efficiently resolve them.  At present, Ms. Shishkin’s practice in large part consists of advising employers, including public entities.

Ms. Shishkin is admitted to the bar in New Jersey and New York.  Prior to joining Trimboli & Prusinowski, she practiced with Rabner, Allcorn, Baumgart & Ben-Asher, The Nirenberg Law Firm, and Resnick and Nirenberg.   Ms. Shishkin was a Deborah Poritz Public Interest Legal Fellow and started her legal career by working for the Legal Services of New Jersey (LSNJ), the leading legal aid organization in the State of New Jersey.
