Smart and effective counsel

Mr. Green successfully guided me through the HR and legal process on my age discrimination claim so that when I was terminated, he was able to negotiate a highly favorable package that well exceeded my former employer's initial offer. Throughout our dealings, his approach was pragmatic and profession...al. His guidance and predictions on how events might unfold were quite accurate. Mr. Green helped steer me through the ups and downs, wrote effective letters, researched case law extensively to help build our case, and was a firm but fair negotiator with in-house counsel, which I believe was a major difference in gaining a positive outcome.

Employee Gender and Age Discrimination Case

Jon came highly recommended to me by a number of individuals who had gone through similar issues in their place of employment. His name kept coming up as the guy to talk to because of his knowledge and positive track record in dealing with the giants in corporate America. I took the leap of faith... and called for an appointment for a consultation to see if I indeed had a case or if I was wasting my time. I was struck by not only his depth and breadth of knowledge, but his experience in dealing with not only my company, but the other giants in the industry. From the moment we met until we settled my case, Jon was always open, honest and upfront about what had to be done if we wanted to file a discrimination lawsuit. He believed I had a case, but he wanted me to understand that the attorneys in corporate America would drag this out for a long period of time and I should be prepared for what could happen. I told him I was not so much concerned about the discrimination I experienced in being passed up for promotions because of age and gender, that I was more concerned that they were trying to railroad me out of the company. My track record throughout my employment was stellar and I had always been an exceeds in rating, and I knew my boss was trying to get me out of my position so he could bring his own people in to fill my role. We talked about my course of action, and decided that I would wait until they made a move to get me out of the job or the company before we did anything. In the meantime he put together a clearly laid out plan that I needed to follow. He stressed the importance of my documenting everything that happened in the past that lead up to this and going forward. For ten months I worked with Jon to build my case. He was always there to counsel me, and make sure I was doing all of the right things to bring about a positive conclusion to my problem. During the entire process he was always honest, and told me what I could expect the company to do. He respected my opinions and told me moving forward was my decision. He felt I had a case and could go to court, and he made it clear that in the end it was my decision. He gave me all of the information and support I needed to make an informed decision. Jon is not only a brilliant attorney, he is exceptionally detailed and has great follow-up. no matter what questions I had or how many times I called him, he was always quick to call me back and provide me answers to my question. I have and will continue to recommend Jon. The best part about dealing with Jon is that the company and I were able to settle without having to go to court, and we both walked away satisfied with the outcome. I still today because of the way this was handled, maintain a great working relationship with my former company and am well thought of by the people at the top. Jon understood I was not looking to burn bridges, just to get what was rightfully mine. I will continue to recommend Jon and would use him again and again. He is an attorney like no other. Someone you can count on to tell you like it is and get you the results you deserve.

Negotiated a Better Severance Package

Jon listened to what I had to say and then explained the options that I had based on what he believed to be the best way forward. He always had my best interests first and kept me informed on the progress he was making. In the end, I listened to his recommendations and followed his advise which ulti...mately led to better severance package for me. I would definitely recommend Jon Green to anyone who has been discriminated against, improperly dismissed, or treated poorly by their employer. He is extremely knowledgeable and puts your interests first.
