My divorce situation was a bit complex in terms of residency and marriage. But he was more than willing to hear me out and gave me immediate comfort in terms of how the situation would get resolved. In addition he makes himself accessible via emails and constantly provides knowledge and resources via his email updates.

I have been a client of Mr. Micklin in the past for many other items but in this instance, my mother was diagnosed with a terminal illness and had a stroke as well within the matter of 8 days. Due to the extreme complex nature of her estate, I was in immediate need of having her will drafted and I will say, Bard and Rachel immediately reacted and had it all ready for me ASAP. The thing is that these people are not just sensitive to your needs but the situational part of your needs as well. The REALLY LISTEN and REACT accordingly.
Probably could have just gone to a simple Notary or get something of the internet but I wasn't going to leave my mothers estate to Chance...... As usual, when I want something done right its just smarter to go to Brad and his team. Speacial thanks to Rachel on this.

Mr. Micklin was a court appointed attorney who represented my family in Surrogate court. He was considerate, responsive and conscientious and I would highly recommend him in the future.

As A Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, it is not uncommon for a client to request help choosing a divorce attorney. The reasons range from them not being happy with their current attorney to simply not knowing where to turn during these emotional times. Brad has always come to the rescue, from taking over a mishandled situation to providing legal guidance with a new situation. Brad and his team are professional and responsive to all who hires him. I have and will continue to recommend his firm. John P. Cito, CDFA

I highly recommend Mr.Micklin for all your family law needs. He has recently represented me in a slew of court cases dealing with many issues my child's father has caused. His confidence was extremely reassuring as I was 7-9 months pregnant during this ordeal. He took great attention to every detail of our case and I am extremely happy with our results. He has made this whole nightmare seem a little bit easier. I am extremely
Grateful for his service and would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for an attentive, smart and extremely knowledgable lawyer.

My wife and I recently retained Mr. Micklin due to a threat of domestic violence issues as well as for family court matters. I do not care to list the details as they are of a personal nature, but I want to point out that there was so many details and I want to take a moment to point out how well they were cared for, crafted and more so handled. Mr. Micklin and his entire team handled my wife, her case, the details, and everything involved with the utmost level of Professionalism and detail. And not just one or 2 or 3 different people..... Literally anyone who works there is quite impressive. In their appearance, demeanor and their genuine and authentic willingness to satisfy us.
Frankly, as much as I respect Mr. Micklin as an attorney & as an utmost professional, I respect him even more so as a person. He is truly as good a person, as he is a professional attorney and this is evident in the people who work & represent him. Their Can-Do attitudes, courtesy and dedication to my wife and her case is as professionally handled as I could've expected.
Needless to say, this great care & handling of the incredible amount of details, along with his willingness to fight and challenge anything and everything during the hearings and trial(s) translated into a landslide victory for us. There is plenty of fight in the attorney and as someone who has an attorney for everything, (i.e. Real Estate, Business, Tax, Family, etc) I'm not easily impressed.
Truly impressed and grateful for the work and I thought it was important to take a moment to show and express our gratitude for the fine work completed.
We will continue to use Mr. Micklin and his team regarding these matters from here on in.

It is my honor to speak about an Attorney that aided in reshaping the newest chapter of my life. Brad was very knowledgable and attainable during my divorce proceedings. He provided the calm in the midst of the storm I was not prepared to face. And years later after I was remarried there were strongholds that attempted to once again pose a threat, but Brad once again prepared a case that helped me to overcome the adversity and continue to engage in a healthy relationship with all parties involved. He presented facts in a way that resolved the issues oppose to generating bad blood that could have continued way pass litigation. For that I am humbly greatful for your services. Be well my new friend. Hope to never need you again but like insurance it's good to know I have you.

I participated in some in person group sessions with Brad and attended one of his webinars. While this was after my divorce was final, it was relevant to hear a different approach. During my divorce, as an accountant, we provided 100% accurate and honest information, while my wife was on the attack with false accusations and twisted facts that made it impossible. My attorneys advised to stay the course and honesty would win out. Brad advised different that I needed to fight fire with fire, stop being nice and accommodating and get on the same level as the other side, so they could relate. Unfortunately, I met Brad too late for me.

Engaging Mr. Micklin to represent me was a terrible decision; he is the embodiment of all the things that make people view some lawyers in a bad light. Prior to my court date I spent a considerable amount of time providing him with the facts relevant to the hearing agenda (and was over billed for that time) but, when we appeared in court, Mr. Micklin was totally unprepared to argue my case. As a result he made an incredible and inexcusable error that caused a major setback to my position. His fees are exorbitant and his billing practices are questionable, bordering on unethical. I performed an Internet search and I found numerous posts/complaints about Mr. Micklin almost identical to mine. I have submitted formal complaints to the NJ Bar Association detailing Mr. Micklin’s incompetency and billing practices.

For the past 5 months Mr. Brad handled a complicated FRO case for me in Union County Supreme court involving child custody, international relocation, and criminal allegations made by my soon to be ex-wife.
Today he successfully resolved it by obtaining a dismissal of the restraining order filed against me.
Why he is the best family lawyer you can hire:
Dedication: This man answers you at 1 am, 5 am, saturday, sunday, christmas.... you get the point...
Meticulous: His attention to detail and presence of mind in court is unmatched. (I have seen numerous other lawyers in court in these past 5 months)
Knowledgeable: He has a full, 360 degree grasp of family court law. There is nothing that he does not know in family matters. There were instances where he corrected the judges and they commended him for it.
Articulation: Let me put it really simple. He knows when to argue and when to be humble. The judges love this quality and respect it.
Passion: He treated my case as if it was his. When I went to him seeking an Order to Cause to stop my wife from absconding internationally with my child, his associate Rachel acted immediately and successfully stopped them from leaving and had the passport confiscated that same evening. (Mind you, his associate is as good as him in this category and so is his entire staff) These people get things done in minutes, not days or weeks.
Patience: From start to finish, my dad and I have asked him 126 questions with permutations. Do the math, he answered all of it without ever loosing his cool.
Cost: Can you set a price on your child?
I have my daughter today because of his passion and dedication.
No matter what you do in life, do it with passion.
