Love Jonathan
I hired Jonathan to handle a dispute I was having with my landlord. He intelligently and aggressively settled the issue. Since then I have continued to use Jonathan without hesitation. I can't say that for most Attorneys I've use over the years.

They dont make them like Mehl anymore
Over the last 12 years my family and I have used Jonathan Mehl's law firm for numerous real estate transactions, such as closings, evictions etc. I have tried other lawyers but none compare to the prompt and courteous service given by Mehl. His team stays on top of my files as if they owned the properties themselves. I have recommended many people towards him and every last one was as satisfied as I was.

Good advice in a jiffy!
We were referred to Mr. Mehl by another NJ attorney whom we'd used for the closing of our Newark house, however this other attorney does not specialize in tenant/landlord issues. In a phone call (later repeated over e-mail), Mr. Mehl took some time to advise us as the best way to proceed. We would definitely hire him in the future should we need someone.

Great lawyer, wonderful with our home closing!
Jonathan was immensely helpful to us through the closing of our first home. We found him here on Avvo, called to find out if he was available to represent us, and in a day we had a meeting set up and were all ready to go! He took time to initially walk us through the home buying process, and answered all of our questions no matter how stupid we thought they were. Between Jonathan and Kim (the Paralegal that works with him), we were very well taken care of and felt everything was handled quickly and professionally!

multi-property purchase
Jon Mehl was extremely helpful with the purchase of 3 properties. In past experiences I have had difficulties with attorneys dealing with 1 property but Jon took the stress out of it for me. He formed the LLC's, drafted operating agreements and they closed with no problems. His attention to detail was greater than what I have seen from other real estate attorney's I have dealt with in the past. Most importantly he made me feel like his most important client.

Great Real Estate Attorney
I have been working with Jonathon for several years now. We have worked on several deals from $400k deals to multi million dollar deals. Some of my real estate transactions have been very complicated and Jonathon has a way of making sure all of the protections are in place without over complicating a deal. He is very responsive and fees are more than fair. He has always gone above and beyond for me. He knows his stuff when it comes to real estate transactions.

Many of my real-estate transactions would have terminated if not for his unique abilities to mediate and present convincing points of view for both buyer and seller. Practical, Affordable, Personable, not you're average lawyer
Jonathan is a no nonsense type of lawyer. He takes the time to ensure his clients fully understand everything and avoids the games which give lawyers a bad reputation. I have used Jonathan on several closings, and a number of landlord tenant issues and he is great! No surprises on the bill and his rates are more than fair. If I ever have a question, he always has a minute for basic legal advise. HIs staff is knowledgable and prompt and pays attention to detail.

The Best Lawyer Around
Jonathan is by far the best lawyer anyone can obtain. He is very professional. He is very down to earth. He fights for you all the way. He knows the landlord/tenant laws very well. He always maintained me informed of everything about my case. He is very thorough and detailed. I have absolutely no complaints about him. Highly recommend!
Never having to deal with "lawyers" before, Jonathan immediately made me feel confident in my choice to contact him. Mines is a landlord/tenant dispute. He explained my choices clearly, giving me examples that I could understand and that I could relate to my situation. He outlined what I should do and what will happen at each stage of the process. Before I was worried, nervous and unsure of my decisions. Now I am confident that this is the correct decision, working with him.

professional service with a personal attention
Jonathan, dealt with all my realestate needs, whether it is a multimellion dollar sale/acquisition deals, to the $800.00 eviction cases. All with the same competence, enthusiasm, and personal attention. It doesn't matter how big or small the job is, you will always be imprtant to him. available to answer your phone calls, and has a highly skilled, and extremely fiendly staff, that will assist you in every way. Very reasonably priced for the level of service he provides!
