Not even for free.

In 2023, when I met with Dr. Anita and hired HER to handle my case, I never imagined that from that point forward, I would have no further contact with the attorney whose services I had paid for. She delegates everything. I read a review from another client who said that she arrived late for their... interview and did not even know her clients’ names. And I believe it—her email address was not even included in the communications I had with the paralegals. Throughout the three years that my case remained stalled with this firm, she was not involved in the communications. With Dr. Anita’s knowledge and signature, this firm filed my case with USCIS when it should have been filed with the Immigration Court. An amateur mistake. I had to pay the $1,440 immigration filing fee, $600 for the medical examination, and a $1,500 initial payment to the firm—the total legal fee would have been $4,500. For 40 days, I repeatedly called and emailed the firm asking for my case receipt number, and they kept telling me that the delay was normal. They never admitted their mistake. When it was time to go to court, they called to tell me that another attorney would represent me. As a client, I asked perfectly reasonable questions: Who is the new attorney? Does she have experience with cases like mine? Why can’t Dr. Anita represent me? Not only did they ignore my questions, but they also responded in an extremely rude and disrespectful manner. It felt as though I were asking them for a favor. The substitute attorney mishandled everything she did in my case. That’s right: they placed the most important case of my life in the hands of someone who appeared to be inexperienced. I received the PDF from Mignone Law Firm containing the details of the motion. I then consulted three other attorneys, who reviewed the entire case and were appalled by the situation I had been placed in by people who were clearly INCOMPETENT. The documents even contained grammatical errors. They had simply “copied and pasted” the work. Below is the explanation provided by one attorney I consulted: “USCIS DOES NOT HAVE JURISDICTION, and they should have known not to file before them. In addition, they did not file the green card case with the judge. Furthermore, instead of filing a Motion to TERMINATE, they filed a MOTION TO DISMISS. This terminology DOES NOT EXIST in court proceedings, and the JUDGE denied the motion because of this.” They made mistakes—and handled my case like amateurs. I paid a great deal of money only to be treated poorly on top of everything else. I will now have to pay the immigration fees and medical examination costs again, repeat vaccinations, and, of course, pay another attorney. But that is only the financial damage. Morally and psychologically, hiring this firm turned out to be the worst decision of my life. I am writing this review in the hope that it may help someone avoid the same experience in the future. Do not trust this firm with your immigration case—not even if they offered to handle it for free.

“Excellent Support and a Smooth, Fast Green Card Process!”

I had a great experience with Mignone Law Firm throughout my entire Green Card process. From the beginning, they were very clear, informative, and supportive, always helping me understand each step of the process and making me feel well assisted. I especially want to highlight the amazing support ...from the paralegal team. They were attentive, responsive, and extremely helpful whenever I had questions or needed guidance. Their assistance made the entire process much easier and less stressful. I was also very impressed with how smoothly and quickly everything went. I filed my case at the end of March 2026, and today, September 9, I already have my Green Card in my hands! I’m very grateful to Mignone Law Firm and the entire team for their professionalism, guidance, and support throughout this important journey. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and supportive immigration law firm.
