Truly a Super Lawyer

I was injured in a car accident in Essex County when someone made a left turn in front of me. I broadsided the other car. My wrist shattered and I ended up with surgery to put it back together. After several months of physical therapy, I was finally able to go back to work. During this time, Mr. Piet...ruska listened to my calls and offered solutions to my problems when they came up. He was very knowledgable on the law and fought with the insurance company who offered a measly $50,000 at the start. As time went on we did a deposition with the other side asking me alot of questions. I was well prepped by Mr Pietruska himself and I found it interesting that many things he told me they would ask during our conversation before were actually asked. (It was like having the answers to a test in high school!) When the time came to do the arbitration on zoom, my lawyer was ready to do battle. I left it in his capable hands. I received an award of $250,000 which the insurance company rejected paying initially. Mr Pietruska told me we should prepare for trial and that he would file papers to block one of their experts. He was successful in getting the insurance company's doctors report partially blocked. After that it was a couple of weeks of him negotiating but in the end he got me $250,000. I was very happy. I would highly recommend him and would say Mr. Pietruska is a Super Lawyer who will do a great job for you.

Great result at my Motor Vehicle Hearing!

I have had a lot of tickets over time. Unfortunately, that means I have also had a lot of points in the past. I need my license to work or I am screwed. I received one of those dreaded MVC letters that state "you are now suspended for 180 days"! One of my coworkers told me that Stan Pietruska i...s a very smart awyer who is great in the court room and had.gotten many tickets thrown out of court, helping him clean up his license. I gave him a call. I met with Mr. Pietruska and showed him my scheduled suspension letter which had me getting suspended in just 3 short days. Almost right away, he was able to get the MVC to postpone my suspension so that I could have a hearing which he had them schedule. On the day of the hearing, Mr. Pietruska went in with me and spoke to the Hearing Officer. She knew him well from having appeared before her before and she seemed to have a lot of respect for Mr. Pietruska. For once I was not feeling so scared! I let my lawyer do the talking. He was well prepared and knew my case inside and out. Mr. Pietruska pointed out that based on the facts the MVC had violated my constitutional rights by threatening to suspend me! He was able to have them waive my suspension and I was able to start driving later that day. I can't thank Mr. Pietruska enough for the job he did. He is a true professional and if you ever have license issues or ticket issues, you can not find a better lawyer. I would highly highly recommend him.

Great lawyer - Got me out of a suspension.

I was given 4 tickets for doing 105 mph in Newark. A speeding ticket, a reckless driving ticket, improper passing and a failure to stay in my lane. I went to court myself and was told by the prosecutor the judge would take my license for 90 days and I would have to take 7 points on my license. Tha...t not being an option I said I wanted to find a lawyer. A friend at work recommended Stan as a smart lawyer and told me that he won his dui trial in Montclair thanks to Stan's work. I met with Stan in his Bayonne office and we discussed my case. He understood the issues and what was at stake. When we went to court he did all the talking and was able to downgrade my tickets to only 2 points (from 16) and most importantly no suspension. When the judge started to yell at me , Stan politely interrupted him and stated "your honor, I have spoken to my client and he understands the situation and you won't see him here again." With that the judge fined me only $200 and sent me on my way. I really appreciated how he handled the whole situation and would highly recommend this lawyer.

Beat my DUI thanks to this guy

I can't thank Mr. Pietruska enough for getting me out of a bad situation I put myself in. I was charged with DUI in a central New Jersey town. I had been drinking at my local bar and while I was buzzed I was not wasted, I got in my car to head home and I end up passing some buddies hanging outsi...de a friend's house on a residential side street I pull over and stupidly park facing the wrong way and greet my friends. I then get out and continue to get my drink on standing right in front of my buddies house. About 20 minutes later the cops come and of course they ask us all if we have been drinking, which its obvious we have as some of us are holding our beer bottles. They then turn their attention to me when they see my car parked the wring way. They give me a field sobriety test and arrest me for DUI. I consulted with Mr. Pietruska and three other lawyers. They all told me I was facing 3 to 7 months suspension at a minimum but only Mr. Pietruska questioned whether the arrest and charges were valid. I really liked what I heard so I went with him. He said that the police did not have probable cause to arrest me for DUI as they never saw me actually driving. Despite the fact that the police said I "had to get there somehow", he went to court with me 3 times and finally convinced the judge and prosecutor to throw the charges out saying the state could not prove that I had been drinking before I parked the car the wrong way. I paid the court nothing, zip, nada. I have learned my lesson and won't be drinking and driving again. If you ever need a lawyer , this guy is good, really good and knows his way around a courtroom.
