For the first time in my dealings with the judicial system I found an attorney to actually listen to my side. Attorney Welcome did so with an open mind. I never he was judging me or treating me inferior or less than. I felt he made it his mission to thoroughly understand every aspect of what happened in my case and not just make my case another folder in his brief case or name in his day planner. I felt like I had someone who vigorously represented me and truly had my best interest at heart. My prior dealings always left me feeling like my legal council was just a facade with my lawyers and supposed law firm doing as the prosecutor and judge instructed being led around the nose like little puppy dogs lacking the courage to stand up to the bully. Attorney Welcome carries himself exuding a quite confidence that left me reassured i would receive the best possible outcome not the quick and easy way out. In short hire this lawyer and you won't be disappointed.

Smart and experienced
Being arrested was the scariest experience of my life, but Attorney Welcome made sure that my rights were protected and that I would get the best possible outcome for my case. I am so thankful that I went to him for help instead of trying to fight the court alone. He was understanding and honest throughout the entire court process and he kept me updated on how my case was going and what I should expect. Attorney Welcome is not just experienced in court; he is extremely familiar with Connecticut courts and he knows what to expect. In my case, I was saved from paying severe fines. More importantly, my serious criminal charges were reduced to minor offenses. I could not have asked for a better result.

cannot reccomend highly enough
pulls out all the stops, goes over and above for the client. client has complete confidence that what can, or needs to be done for the case. most definately is! even with a most desperate situation for a client, you know that you're in the best hands possible. would highly reccomend. I am a client whose case was in a different state to Mr Welcomes. who travelled many hours by vehicle on more than one occasion. And still have not been to his offices as I ( Mr Welcomes client) live far away. am very grateful to Mr Welcome of the best possible outcome of my case. direct result of Mr Welcome representing me.

I do not recommend
I received shoddy representation from Welcome. Calls weren't returned. He treated me as though I was a nuisance and was very impersonal. He lost my case and didn't care. Lousy lawyer.

There is a lot of discussion today about fake reviews and those reviews published with insidious motives. Like all small businesses, we are not immune from random and baseless attacks that, at times, seem to come from left field. This firm represented this particular individual in 2008 and 2009 and obtained outstanding results for complicated cases in multiple courthouses. She was very appreciative of the results in her cases at the time in 2009 and thanked us profusely at the time. Out of respect to this and any client who we are privileged to represent, we will never disclose confidential information regarding our clients and the individual challenges of their cases, despite our being attacked in public like this. We were hired to obtain the best possible result and that is exactly what this individual received. For 18 years, this firm has provided Results that you can Trust--and this example is no different. Our firm understands the value of client feedback whether good or bad, but we will not let false comments be passed onto the public without providing context for those who would spend their time trying to tear down others. Unfortunately, this review does not align with The Law Offices of James A. Welcome's reputation and for the hard work that was done on behalf of this particular individual. To this former client, I would say that we at the Law Offices of James A.
