updated on 07/31/2025A reprimand is an order from the Statewide Grievance Committee after it has found that an attorney has engaged in ethical misconduct. If an attorney receives more than 3 reprimands in 5 years, a presentment must be filed against the attorney so the Superior Court can decide if more serious discipline should be ordered.

“A licensed Connecticut therapist who was not a witness in a family case was presumed to be a witness by the State Bar. Said therapist violated my client's parental rights and treated a minor in violation of previous court orders. I zealously represented my client in advising said therapist to cease and desist unauthorized therapy of the minor without both parents' consent. For this I was reprimanded.”
