I was stopped on my birthday and cited with Reckless Operation and told to appear in Laconia District court. I researched on the internet to find most suitable DUI attorney for my case. I spoke to couple of them, but none of the impressed me more than Ted Lothstein with his knowledge and professionalism. He is one of the few if not the only one that didn’t see me only as “business opportunity” and way to ma...ke extra money. He even offered to me what no other attorney offered which was to only charge me half of his fee if we make a plea deal and not end up going to the trail. All other attorney’s asked for full fee payment regardless of if we end up with trial or not. After our initial discussion we both concluded it will be tough case to fight given what we knew about my case and making a deal with prosecution was the best option. I asked Ted what he thought if I did this on my own and plead guilty in exchange for minimum sentence and he agreed that I should be able to do this on my own. Almost every other attorney have told me that was not smart idea.
