Arinda Brooks is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Brooks Law and a Massachusetts attorney with a background in workers’ compensation law and advocacy for injured workers. She founded the firm in 2013 with the mission of expanding access to high-quality legal representation for injured workers, immigrants, and underserved communities throughout Massachusetts and New England.
Before launching Brooks Law, Arinda spent several years practicing workers’ compensation law in Boston, where she represented employees navigating the Massachusetts workers’ compensation system after workplace injuries. Her work focused on helping individuals secure medical benefits, wage replacement benefits, and legal protection following work-related injuries. This experience shaped her commitment to building a firm dedicated to client advocacy, accessibility, and community impact.
As the founder and CEO of Brooks Law, Arinda leads the firm’s long-term strategy, growth, and commitment to client-centered legal services. Under her leadership, the firm has expanded to provide legal representation in workers’ compensation, personal injury, and immigration law, serving diverse communities across Massachusetts. Brooks Law has become known for its focus on supporting immigrant communities and providing legal services to Spanish-speaking and Brazilian Portuguese-speaking clients.
Arinda has also prioritized partnerships with community organizations that support immigrant and working-class populations. The firm has collaborated with groups such as the Brazilian Workers Center in Allston, reflecting its broader mission to improve access to legal services and community resources.
Although her role today focuses primarily on firm leadership, strategic development, and mentorship, Arinda remains deeply committed to the principles that led her to the legal profession: advocacy, fairness, and ensuring that individuals facing legal challenges have access to knowledgeable representation.
Arinda earned her Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law and holds a bachelor’s degree from Southern Oregon University. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts.
Originally from Alaska, Arinda now lives in Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts, with her son and daughter.
