I am an immigration attorney at Brooks Law, where I represent individuals and families in a wide range of immigration matters, including removal defense, asylum, family-based immigration, and employment-based immigration applications. My work focuses on helping clients navigate the complexities of the U.S. immigration system while ensuring they understand their options and feel supported throughout the process.
I became involved in immigration law in an unexpected way. While working in a different area of law, I volunteered on an immigration case and quickly realized that the work was deeply meaningful to me. The experience had such a strong impact that I decided to shift my legal career toward immigration law. I eventually opened my own immigration practice before later joining forces with a larger firm to expand the resources and support available to clients.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of helping individuals and families achieve significant milestones, including lawful permanent residence and U.S. citizenship. Some of the most meaningful cases I have worked on involved clients who waited more than 20 years to obtain their green cards or citizenship, moments that reflect the perseverance and resilience of the people we serve.
At Brooks Law, I also work closely with our team to help the firm stay ahead of changing immigration laws and policies by integrating new developments into the firm’s technology-driven systems and case management processes. I value the collaborative culture of the firm, where every success is the result of teamwork and shared commitment to our clients.
My approach to representing clients is grounded in preparation, transparency, and empathy. Immigration cases are deeply personal, and I believe it is essential to listen carefully, communicate clearly, and guide clients through each step of the process with honesty and respect.
In 2018, I traveled to Dilley, Texas, during the height of the Family Separation crisis, where I worked long days representing detained mothers and children seeking asylum. That experience reinforced my commitment to immigrant advocacy and to the human side of immigration law.
