Biography
I am an immigration attorney at Brooks Law, where I focus primarily on general removal defense and Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ) cases. I work closely with my clients to develop strategic case plans and represent them throughout immigration proceedings, guiding them through processes that can often feel complex and intimidating.
As the daughter of immigrants, my connection to immigration law is deeply personal. My journey through college and law school was shaped by years working in the restaurant industry, where I witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by hardworking individuals striving to build better lives for their families. Those experiences inspired me to dedicate my legal career to helping immigrants navigate a system that can often feel overwhelming.
I take pride in my professional accomplishments, including securing my first bond grant for a detained client, a milestone that reflects my commitment and persistence in advocating for my clients. I approach every case with urgency and purpose, guided by the principle: “Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today.”
One of the most meaningful moments in my career was accompanying a client to her adjustment of status interview, where she was granted permanent residency on the spot. The gratitude and relief she experienced continue to motivate me in my work.
My approach to client representation is hands-on and communicative. I make it a priority to check in regularly—whether by phone or text—so my clients feel supported, informed, and confident throughout their case.
