Working with Neil was a great experience that I hope to never have to repeat. Neil is down-to-earth, proactive, communicative, and possesses a keen depth of knowledge regarding Massachusetts firearms law, especially its revisionist changes over the last ten years. His understanding and interpreti...ve skills far exceed those of the prosecution and the presiding judge. He is passionately involved in the firearms community and its competitive sports. Neil is associated with many key parties in the state working to clarify and codify the murky and indefinite aspects of Massachusetts law. Had a good experience and a good outcome with Attorney Tassel. I put myself in a bad position regarding unlawful firearms handling that resulted in a felony charge. Neil assembled the facts and explained to the Court that the incident was a mistake that perhaps warranted some extended oversight, bu...t not a penalty. The Court decided even oversight wasn't warranted, and dismissed the charge entirely. Voting, jury duty, and other rights preserved. And I'll add that his fee was perfectly reasonable. I did some research on legal counsel options before choosing Neil and the results exceeded my expectations.

In one night my young son went from an independent working young man with and FID card to living a MA nightmare of facing multiple gun charges. Not enough good things to say about Neil. If you're being persecuted by this redcoat state over your 2nd Amendment rights, he's your best legal defense. My case started off about as bad as it can get, I was being charged with a litany of things, most of which carried mandatory minimum sentences in pr...ison. My first lawyer was garbage; never communicated, didn't really advocate for me, didn't care if I lost or won the case. He eventually quit, at which point we hired Neil, which was the best decision we could have made. I can proudly say that after almost three years, my case was finally closed today, with no jail time and only a year of probation. When I first got arrested, I never imagined that this could be the outcome, but Neil made it happen. He goes the distance, is communicative and understanding, and he has some funny stories. He is also great to talk to if you're a gun guy in general. I plan to get out of this horrible state ASAP, but God forbid they ever come after me in the future, I'd be extremely fortunate to be represented by Mr. Tassel; and so would you.
