Irvin Rakhlin

I was told that Attorney Rakhlin was one of the best defense attorneys in Boston and he proved to be. I was also told when looking for a defense attorney to find someone who had the following traits: negotiating skills, courtroom demeanor, perseverance, analytical skills, knowledge of the law, integ...rity, communication skills, research skills, understanding of the court system, and care for the client (ie., understanding the clients needs). On each of these skills, I would give Attorney Rakhlin a perfect ten. As described below, his results were fantastic as well. My situation was that after going through a tough time in my life, over the course of many months, I ended up with six outstanding cases that were brought against me. Incredibly, after much work and negotiation with the court system, Attorney Rakhlin was able to get my cases reduced to a mere pre-trial probation of nine months (which he was later able to negotiate down to six months). When I later talked to other attorneys, they told me that with as many cases that I had outstanding (again six in total) that it is very rare to get solely a pre-trial probation for that short period of time. This reinforced the great skills and job Attorney Rakhlin was able to do for me. Below I further elaborate on some more (not all) specific examples with short bullet points of why you should use his services: - While sitting in the courtroom and waiting for my case to be called, I was able to see other attorneys present their cases before mine was called. It was clear to me that Attorney Rakhlin's skills were the best of those attorneys that I saw on those days I sat in court. - I was able to notice the close relationship and respect that Attorney Rakhlin had with the district attorneys. I feel that they trusted he was out to do the right thing in the court system. That went along way in having my cases resolved as I described above. - His client service was incredible. Any time I contacted him, he either picked up the phone right away or got back to me within minutes (even if he was in court when I contacted him he would text me back within minutes). - When we were walking through the courthouse together it was amazing how he seemed to know everyone. This allowed him to take care of things very efficiently and effectively. I have already discussed how we was able to get my cases resolved in an incredible fashion and against all odds, but his amazing work did not stop there. - After these cases were dismissed, I wanted to have them sealed ASAP, as well, in case any employer that I was interviewing with used a more thorough background check. Attorney Rakhlin was able to get these records sealed only two months after the cases were dismissed. Other lawyers stated that this too was an incredibly short time frame. For the reasons stated above, I sincerely recommend, over any other lawyer that I have seen, Attorney Rakhlin's services.

To my surprise a family member who has a history of being violent and controlling had filed a restraining order against me so I would not be able to visit my aging sickly mother in Boston . Since no aggression had happened from my side I knew this was filed to get control over my mother and her prop...erty. I the next day googled falsely accused restraining order and Irvin Rakhlin was the first to come up, he immediately gave me the confidence that he knew how to deal with this type of case . After talking with 5 other lawyers I came back to Irvin due to his experience with these matters and so happy that I did. Once in the court room I did not have to say a thing. He guided me to stand tall and strong and not react to my family members lies and outrages claims. Irvin's cross examination allowed for so may large holes to be put into the plaintiff's statements about me , and shed light on the truth of the judge to see clearly this was a case of one family member trying to control over the property over my elder mother. Irvin is very strong lawyer with great questioning skills , I felt totally protected and very secure this lawyer. I pray I never need this type of service again but if I did I would hire Irvin again. I contacted attorney Rakhlin for the first time late on a Saturday night to seek his legal representation on the upcoming Tuesday morning at a court hearing. He responded to my request early on the following Sunday morning. After discussing over the phone the details pertaining to my case, he explain...ed to me what his approach method would be to address the situation and what the possible outcomes could be. I could immediate tell he was very knowledgeable about the matter. I truly appreciated the time he dedicated to explain to me very carefully the whole situation I was involved in. From the moment we stepped inside the court on the day of the hearing I could tell he was prepared to put up a good defense on my behalf and would not settle easily unless he got the best possible deal for me. He represented me on the court hearing and managed to dismiss my case prior to arraignment with the NO criminal record. I hope not to ever find myself involved in a criminal case, but should I ever require legal representation again I would not doubt for a second to contact attorney Rakhlin. I had a bogus restraining order on me by an estranged family member who was looking to make my life miserable. I had a lawyer prior to contacting Irvin but when I tried to contact her I was unable to reach her by phone or by email. Not feeling comfortable with my 1st choice I searched for found Irvin... here at AVVO and liked what I read. I called him in the morning and actually was able to speak with him directly. He said he had court later in the morning but may be able to speak with me later in the day. He contacted me after his court work and I was able to speak with him that afternoon. I explained the situation to him and that I have never had any dealings with the legal system at all. He explained how he saw the court date could play out and exactly how he would proceed in the court. I felt very comfortable choosing Irvin to speak for me in court. He asked for some documentation from me about the case and that he could be best reached in the morning on the phone or by email later in the day as he could be in court at those times. Irvin contacted my family members to speak with them about the case on the Sunday prior to my date. I was able to email and get a response from Irv in a timely fashion. On the day of court Irv meet us all at the courthouse explained how the proceedings go and who he may call to testify and what questions he may ask. Being in a courtroom waiting for a docket # with your name to be called is a nerve wracking experience and mine was just civil . Having Irvin there was the only thing that made it so I could stay relaxed. Without getting into details the restraining order was set to expire at end of day because of a no show on plaintiffs part but they showed up before we left which was probably for the best. Irvin explained to plaintiff that we are here to settle the request for restraining order and we all went back into the court room to get before the judge again. Before that could happen the plaintiff left and was never seen again. I wish I had a chance to have Irvin question the plaintiff and witness for me. I am sure the end result would have been the same with the order expiring . Irving is very professional , knowledgeable and easy to contact via phone or email. Made my only dealings with the legal system easier. I highly recommend
