Of the NINE criminal defense lawyers I consulted with over the phone, ONE stood out. Irv Rakhlin is by far the person you want to have on your team when facing life-changing circumstances like those you experience in criminal court. I had the misfortune of being arrested. A court appointed attorney did not do well with the D.A. The fact that I was innocent didn't matter; I was in trouble. In early February I contacted the Law Offices of Irvin Rakhlin a Criminal Defense Attorney for consultation on a motor vehicle charge I received in Ogunquit, ME in August of 2016. Because, it was an offense in York County, Maine. I have had to address the actual charges for Driving to Endanger and M...aine's Decision to suspend my license in Maine. Attorney Rakhlin looked into the Maine suspension and how it would affect my drivers license in Massachusetts. He must have put two hours into investigating my license status between the two States. (MA and ME) His ability to speak Russian helped me understand my situation much more clear because of my limited English speaking skills. In Maine, the Police Officers, lawyers, court personnel "ALL" had difficulty understanding me. In fact, there would have not have been any charges against me, if the Police Officer in Ogunquit, ME had taken the time to understand what I was saying to him. He got annoyed at my questioning his hostility toward the 3rd Party I was with. Please, understand that because of language barriers we face living in the United States, it is crucial that people in my circumstance contact a lawyer such as Irvin Rakhlin.
