Irvin Rakhlin

My case certainly wasn't anything big as far as criminal standards are concerned but it was obviously important to me and of course something that would effect my life. I've had some experience with lawyers in the past and they want to make money so they focus on the big cases that will produce the m...ost yield. I didn't find this was the case with Irvin, from the beginning he was sure to be involved listening to all of my side of the story, reading through the case and was always responsive when I reached out with a question or anything I thought of after speaking with him initially. When I first hired him he even came by and met me at the scene in order to get a proper look at the damage and to take pictures that could later be used in court. Also I've had experiences before where the lawyer doesn't mind dragging out a case and getting the most bang for his buck on the time. Irvin was not like that, I'm not a rich person and he was willing to do his best to end the case as fast as possible so that the case didn't drag on and cost higher fees. A note for anyone that may be involved in a case at Brighton district court I noticed that he knew many of the court personnel and had spoken to the ADA at the court before hand as well. I think it's an extra benefit that he's a person with good relations at this court, when he's defending your case he would be seen as a straight shooter who's known to the court rather than just another lawyer off the street defending someone who they see as a criminal. I would hope I never need to, but should the need ever arise that I would need another attorney I would not hesitate to reach out to Irvin again.

It was 7:20 in the morning when I called Irvin, and I was in my worst nightmare. I barely slept in the last 24 hours and need immediate help from a law processional. My arraignment was scheduled at 9 AM so I called a few lawyers based on their reviews online (never dealt with lawsuits before) and Irv...in was the first one responded. He was calm, logical and cared at the same time so my tension sharply decreased a few mins into the conversation. The case was dismissed in just about 3 months, it took a miracle to have it dismissed in such a short period. The judge's decision finally proved what Irvin told me before, there was nothing to worry about. I am very happy to recommend Irvin to anyone who needs his professional advice for what you are going through right now. Any steps go wrong might lead to a entirely different outcome than what you have expected so getting a good lawyer with years of experiences is important. You would have to pay the price unfortunately but at least with Irvin's help, you know that you are in good hands.

I had a legal matter which I hired Mr. Rakhlin to represent me in court. It was a very emotional matter and court was very difficult, tense, and at times scary. I honestly was frightened. I was told that the attorney for the plaintiff (the other side) was a good attorney. No judgement on the other attorney personally, but standing next to Irv in the same courtroom, Irv stood out as being exceptional. Something I have never seen before which I found interesting, and worth noting. When cross examining the witnesses for the other side (plaintiff), he did not bully them. He merely cross examined the plaintiff to get the facts. When cross examining, he was very polite and professional. Rather than tear apart the witnesses on the stand or bully them, he merely got their story and statements. Then, he used those statements and testimony to put together my defense. He used what the plaintiff said, combined with the evidence (or lack thereof) to show that their story and statements made absolutely no sense whatsoever and could not have been true. The judge agreed. The strategy here is something that in this particular case, worked. I am just amazed on the detail that he put into his strategy. The one piece of advice I would give anyone who goes to Irv for representation- be honest with him. Tell him all angles of your case, even if some of it may not be favorable to you or your claims. This man needs to know the full story in order to put the best possible representation forward. Your relationship with your lawyer is a close one; this person is representing you in a situation which could influence the rest of your life. Don’t tell one side, tell him everything, give him the information he needs to represent you. If you forget to tell him something, it's not too late, tell him little things you think of that might hurt your case as your case progresses. He might need this information. Being truthful and honest will give Irv the ability to help you as much as possible and to do everything within his power to not only get the results you want from a legal perspective, but to protect your personal interests and possibly to protect things even more important to you in life such as your reputation, your livelihood, or even your freedom.
