Helpful, thorough and empathetic
I had a consultation with Kate regarding an unemployment claim. She was very helpful in going through my documents, selecting what was relevant and what was irrelevant to my case, and helping me formulate an argument that supported my claims, all while adhering to the law. She was also professional and empathetic to my circumstances and helped to lessen my anxiety about the entire process. I would recommend her, absolutely.

Caring Attorney That Gets The Job Done
I hired Kate Fitzpatrick for legal consulting on a separation agreement my employer had offered me as well as for guidance on my subsequent filing for unemployment. I'm pleased to say that the outcome was successful. Kate was very professional in our interactions and was always well prepared to discuss my case. I was amazed at her attention to detail surrounding my case. Her attention made me feel certain that I mattered and that I would be properly represented. I also really appreciated how flexible she was about meeting thru Google Hangouts rather than requiring a face to face meeting at her office. Finally, her ability to empathize and advocate for me, made me feel comfortable working with her and sure that she would be a good attorney to have in my corner should my case have needed to go to litigation.

Kate is the "Right" choice
It was a real pleasure in working with such a professional as Kate. Her careful review of my situation, explanation and recommendations of alternatives, along with providing me with insights of actions that could be taken proved to be excellent. Her approach was honest, factual, diligent and great listener. She created a powerful “Demand” letter for wages based on several factors including Good Faith and Fair Dealing that had been withheld due to released timeframe, which resulted in immediate payment from the company. Kate is the one to go to when you have questions and issues; seeking professional advice and guidance with employment contracts agreement.

Great lawyer, great results
Kate helped me navigate and resolve a very complicated work situation in NYC. With her assistance, I was able to receive a good severance package and have peace of mind. I cannot recommend working with Kate more; she is an excellent and experienced labor attorney - also extremely diligent, smart, and supportive.

Very Good Employment Attorney
Kate's knowledge and understanding of Massachusetts employment law is excellent. She did a great job of answering my questions, following up and reviewing the facts with me. She brought to my attention details and options I was not aware existed or may be entitled to. From initial contact and through the entire negotiating process Kate was quick to respond. The ability to work with her remotely via phone and email made the entire process much easier and less stressful. Kate is a very good attorney and I am glad that she was on my side. I highly recommend talking with her. Thanks Kate!

Excellent, Knowledgeable Attorney
I have spoken with many lawyers regarding an employment issue and Kate was the first one to be able to quickly summarize the entire issue at hand and explain my options in a clear concise fashion. She's an excellent attorney and quick to respond. I also like that I can work with her remotely, which makes things much easier for me. Highly recommended!!

Excellent Employment Lawyer
I was recently terminated, and it was a complete shock. Attorney Fitpatrick was extremely knowledgable about all aspects of employment law, and helped me negotiate a much better severance agreement than I thought possible, and even got health insurance added in. She also caught several clauses of the agreement that were not in my favor and had them changed on my behalf. Most importantly, a separation is a traumatic event, and Ms. Fitzpatrick was always compassionate and supportive, even when I might have been a little difficult. I highly recommend her. Her zealous advocacy is making my transition to the next step of my career so much smoother
