Outcome: Negligent Driving/Deferred Sentence

Description: My client was stopped because the officer claimed he was speeding and swerving in his lane. He was nervous and performed one of the field sobriety tests even though he knew he did not have to. This lead to an arrest and he was charged with DUI. I got the speeding ticket dismissed and the DUI charge amended to negligent driving first degree. I successfully argued for a deferred sentence (which means the negligent driving has now been dismissed on his record).
