Blake's knowledge & experience resulted in the dismissal of a driving violation charge. This was to my surprise as I just expected a reduction in the fine.

I had a traffic citation while visiting Oregon from the East coast, and had no idea who to call. I found Blake on the internet and was worried whether I should trust him or not. I'm very glad I did - he told me exactly what he could and couldn't do, made a recommendation, followed through, and got me what I hoped for, a reduction that didn't affect my until then perfect driving record and saved me a lot of money in the long term. It was a good and easy experience working with him long distance, and I'm grateful for his help.

Mr. Dore is very good attorney, he was straight forward and knowledgable. I was arrested for DUII in the state of Washington and he was able to get it reduced to Neg Driving II, a driving infraction. I am very pleased with the outcome in my case.

Blake Dore went to bat for me, and boy can he swing hard. This guy is the real deal. The first lawyer I've ever met that I truly like. If you need help, call him. You won't regret it.

Blake did an outstanding job on a photo red light case that I retained him for. While these cases may seem fairly cut and dried, he was extremely knowledgable about the photo red light program in Tualatin, problems with the signage posted by the City, and was aggressive with pre-trial motions. Ultimately he negotiated a diversion program for me, which was something that the city had refused to allow until I retained Blake.
If you are looking for someone who is prompt and responsive, appropriately aggressive, and willing to look at all aspects of a case to find a resolution that is amenable to you then call this guy!

After blowing double for a DUI, I was in need of a lawyer. I spent the following day searching the web frantically for a lawyer with great reviews. With limited to no time I stumbled upon Mr. Dore and called him. With more than a reasonable price I hired him on the spot. Not only was he extremeley thorough but he was very fast acting and honest. Lets face it, when you get a DUI you need the cold heart truth and to be mentaly prepared for the worst. After two months of going through the motions Blake assured me he was going to his very best to get the most positive outcome. I blew double the limit so getting anything dropped isn't an easy job. Not expecting much but hoping he would do his part, Blake Dore, got my charges dropped to a Neg1...which is almost unheard of. My fee's to the court were cut in half and I got to keep my license. I also had a speeding ticket that he somehow managed to get dropped as well. Driving under the infuence is and awful act and can have terrible consequences. I feel privileged to have work with Blake Dore!!!

After both reading over my own case materials and interacting with Mr. Dore personally, I feel obliged to write a review warning any potential clients about the impersonal and inadequate nature of Mr. Dore's approach to law.
First, I'll provide a brief synopsis of my own case: I was cited in OR for exceeding the speed limit. The officer who pulled me over seemed very competent and was definitely just doing his job; however, this was my first offense. Unfortunately, I could not make my court date because of preexisting circumstances so I looked online and hired Mr. Dore to represent me.
After delaying my court date for several months with limited communication about the status of my case, Mr. Dore finally went to court. He basically argued that the officer was out of his jurisdiction and that the officer did not lay proper foundation in court to show that he was trained in the use of his radar device. The officer did, however, tell the court that he was trained in the use of radar devices (note: "devices" is plural), just not the specific one that he used to clock me. Instead of focusing on the fact that I am a great student, this was my first offense, and the other things that I would have thought to say if I had been able to make my own court date, Mr. Dore focused on a small, but largely irrelevant distinction in the officer's testimony.
This attitude is indicative of the way he approached our entire relationship. He did not take the time to get to know me personally and because of that, was not able to do the job I wanted him to do -- represent me in court. Instead, Mr. Dore stuck to a script of legal loopholes that ended up loosing this case.
Needless to say, the judge did not agree with Mr. Dore's hyper-textualist interpretation of the law and Mr. Dore lost my case. In the end, I ended up having to pay over three times the amount of my original ticket because of this.

I retained Blake to defend me against a citation issued for violating a "little known and enforced law" of crossing private property in Beaverton. I faced the unfortunate situation of having my license suspended if found guilty due to past repeated offenses. From the beginning Blake was responsive, knowledgable, and well informed about the court, its city attorneys and the inner workings of the situation. He was successful negotiating a dismissal of the charge with the court against what I considered pretty dismal odds. If you find yourself in a similar situation.

I recently obtained Blake Dore's services for vacating a misdemeanor. He was very knowledgeable about what I needed to do and took care of everything extremely fast. I was truly impressed and would recommend him to anyone. I felt comfortable trusting him from out of state to represent me and his fees were very reasonable.

Blake Dore's work as my attorney was invaluable. I live near Seattle and needed help contesting a serious traffic citation from Washington County, Oregon. I made an inquiry on Mr. Dore's website, and he responded within a day. His flat rate was very reasonable. Considering the amount of work he put in, I feel like I paid for a coach ticket and got a free upgrade to first class. Even though we live over 160 miles apart, Mr. Dore handled my case effectively. He was responsive and reassuring during the entire process, sending me updates and documents as he received them by phone and email. I'm very pleased with the outcome of my case. Mr. Dore is a pleasant individual as well as a competent lawyer and I gladly recommend him.

Blake Dore did an excellent job on a photo radar ticket I got in Milwaukie. After calling a couple of different attorneys, I spoke to Blake who seemed genuinely concerned about my case as opposed to some other attorneys that gave me the impression that they were not enthused about dealing with my case. I wanted a person who was willing to put the energy and time to turn over every rock in order to get a Not Guilty verdict. Blake Dore proved I picked the right attorney by researching my case, gathering evidence, and presenting a compelling argument to the judge who did the right thing by dismissing my photo radar ticket of 41 MPH in a 30 MPH. I would recommend Blake to anyone.

Blake Dore was amazing! He took my case, took the time to do the research, took the time to give me personal service.... you know, all the things you never get from an attorney. He even met me at the site of my HOV violation to gather evidence. I was impressed. Needless to say, I walked out of court with a great plea deal (parking ticket). I would reccommend him to anyone in need, and he would be my first call if I ever need a lawyer again.

Blake Dore was recommended to me by a friend who is an established attorney in downtown Portland. I had been charged with running a red light in Tualatin, OR. After sending Blake the information I had including my rendition of what had happened, he approached the court. After deliberations the court agreed with Blake's logic and dismissed the case. Meanwhile, he kept me posted on his progress so I knew what was going on all the time. The recommendation from a well established lawyer downtown made me very comfortable hiring Blake and the did a splendid job for me. I certainly recommend this bright young man, particularly if you are looking for a longer term legal relationship.

Blake Dore is a young, energetic and personable attorney who I found online while researching how to beat red light photo citations. He eagerly took the case despite my pessimism. Blake was responsive and professional every step of the way. After filing a motion to dismiss based on state law of the legality of the city of Tualatin to operate the device, multiple supoenas of city records about device maintenance and examining and photographing the site himself, we were thoroughly prepared for trial. The prosecution then decided to dismiss rather than go forward. Though the prosecution did not disclose why it decided to drop the case, I expect it was because they didn't want to jeopardize future prosecutions by allowing our defense to be aired publicly in court.
In researching the feasibility of beating photo red light citations, I asked several prominent attorneys how they would proceed. Every one of them had attempted to and none had been successful, one attorney even telling me he had even hired the top traffic attorney in the state to no avail. The advice was to just pay the ticket, as these types of cases are usually cut and dried given the strength of the photographic evidence. Not so to Blake Dore'. In looking through the statutes he uncovered several issues to argue which I believed compromised the ability of the prosecution to go forward, ultimately resulting in that wonderful statement: "case dismissed".
We need more defense attorneys like Blake to protect us from an ever encroaching government.

Blake Dore did a phenomenal job on my case. I was charged with speeding, unlawful lane change and reckless driving, he was able to negotiate with the DA's office a careless driving conviction and all other charges dropped without going to trial. He did all this while offering the best rates in Oregon, I highly recommend Blake Dore.

My experience with Mr. Dore is limited to my question posted on AVVO; however, his considerations and insight were far above what I would have considered excellent for this venue. While I hope never to require his services, I would not hesitate to call him should such a need arise.

I had an experience at a hospital emergency room when my daughter needed medical care and we didn't have insurance at the time. We received a bill for almost $3000. Most of that was for a CT scan that had really been unneccesary. The hospital refused to work with us to set up a payment plan and so we contacted Mr. Dore. Within 48 hours, he not only had the bill reduced to $700, but had negotiated a payment plan with the hospital. For this, he has our complete faith and trust and he will always be my first call when I need an advocate!..
