Outcome: Lift firearms restrictions after conviction

Description: Client was convicted two years ago of misdemeanor battery which means he is prohibited from carrying or owning any firearm for 10 years under Cal Penal Code 12021. He was trying to join the U.S. Army but was unable to enlist due to this restriction. I was able to petition the court to lift this firearms restriction as related to military duty, thereby clearing the way for him to join the Army.
