I found out that it's a real stroke of luck to find a great lawyer, and I feel very fortunate. Mr. Mallen took 12 years of complicated, varied employment issues, advised me wisely, with patience and loyalty. Frank, efficient, strategic and trustworthy, and was there for me at the beginning and end of a complicated, crazy making legal situation (which would have been less complicated if I had heeded his advice in the first place, but he didn't hold that against me). I can't recommend him highly enough. If you have a legal case, he'll tell you; if you don't, he'll tell you. Very respectful and knowledgable on the legal merits and risks, with good working relationships in the legal world/he'll know where to direct you/your case as needed.

David helped my employer and I reach an amicable agreement on appropriate severance after my separation. David used his extensive knowledge of employment law, especially as it applies to California to help all parties understand the nature of a fair consensus. We quickly reached a final agreement and all parties were satisfied with the result. Would recommend for all employment law issues from either the employee of employer side of an issue.

David is a 22 year litigator veteran in employment law focusing on small business counseling and employment litigation. He also is an expert in mediation for employment situations where a Win-Win attitude is desired. I can't recommend David high enough both for counseling and representation. Ethical, fair, honest, and easy to work with - he totally represents his clients with a completely professional approach. Call him to represent you or your company in any employment situation. He adds value for his clients and in my case more than paid for himself by knowing the letter of the law and negotiating for my benefit. I highly recommend him.

David Mallen is a great attorney. He really knows his stuff, and he handled my issue with the utmost care and competence. Throughout the process, he was prompt in returning my calls or emails, and I know he had my best interests in mind. With that said, I recommend him without any hesitation.

We hired David to review our employment practices. Figuring because we are nice guys and treat our people well, we should be doing just fine. Turns out labor laws are not always intuitive, and that can invite problems. David was great at getting us on the straight and narrow path the State requires. And, frankly, David is the first attorney I've worked with where I felt every bit of the work recommended and performed was in our interest. He is trustworthy, very comfortable to work with, impeccably competent and more. I highly recommend him.

Though I have been involved in a few of litigations in my lifetime (that's more than enough!) , Mr Mallen has demonstrated to me that he is the only lawyer that has made me feel that he truly had my best interest throughout the litigation. He also was forthright and straight forward in his communication with me. I cannot say that about any other lawyer that I have retained or been involved with in any capacity. I wish there were more lawyers like Mr Mallen.

Mr. Mallen handled an arbitration matter for me involving a wage and hour dispute. I found Mr. Mallen to be very knowledgeable and very thorough. He approached my matter with a full commitment and displayed the energy and passion that I had only hoped to receive. Following that arbitration matter I have had the opportunity to refer to Mr. Mallen several matters from friends of mine and I would not hesitate to do so ay any time. If you need an attorney who takes a personal interest in your matter and not just from a business interest standpoint them you will want to work with Mr. Mallen.Sam

David was extremely professional and informative in regards to my "unusual" employment legal situation. My case settled fairly and within a reasonable time period.
But most importantly David was considerate and understanding, making a stressful situation easier to deal with.
