    Hired attorney

Professional, knowledgeable, skilled and courteous. I would highly recommend this team of experts. they really eased my concerns about the law and their staff provided me with the strongest prepared defense available in Las Vegas. Their team is highly experienced, and they actually took the time to listen to my case. Highly commited to providing the best protection in the field of law. The payment plans are reasonable, always willing to make a commedation for me to make my payment plan reasonable. The best legal team ever! I would highly recommend Michael Becker, Neil Shouse, Daniel Page, Amber Furhiman and Daria Panoff for any of your legal needs. They all have worked together to help me with my case. I also want to thank David Kohlmeier and Nancy Green, both case managers have helped me through this time.

My experience with LVDG left me feeling great. From the beginning, I felt like my relatively minor case was treated as if it were a very serious one.

While hanging out at my house, I heard a strange knock at my door. The police informed me that I had been a very serious accident and that they knew it was me. I told them that I didn’t know what they were talking about. They told me a tow-truck was on its way to impound my car and I only needed to confess to take care of everything quickly. I continued to tell them that I didn’t know what they were talking about. This took about 3 hours and left me very shaken up.

About 2 weeks later, I got a notice in the mail from LVMPD that I was the suspect in a hit and run investigation. This frightened me. How could the police accuse me of this? Are my rights being violated? What’s going on?

I knew this was the time to consult a lawyer. I researched the Law Firm that I noticed represented police in previous cases, and that had former police officers on its staff. I knew that this sort of rapport with police would expedite my case, as they would be able to relate to the detective(s) investigating me on mutually understandable terms.

Upon meeting with the first of three individuals involved on my case, David Kohlmeier, Case Manager immediately made me feel the full implications of my case. He let me know the potential progress and possible punishments of my case, the benefits of retaining the law firm to protect me, and the cost structure for all of it. Nothing was unclear. He made me feel confident that he knew what he was talking about.

The next person I met with was In-House Private Investigator - William Simpson who personally investigated on my behalf and spoke to the detective on my behalf to figure out an appropriate time for me to go speak with him, as well as probing for information to give us a clearer understanding of what exactly I was being accused of.

After that, I met with my lawyer, and the state completely dropped its case with no tickets or punishments issued whatsoever! Whew!

Throughout the experience, all my phone calls were returned with expedience, and everything was explained thoroughly. The diverse backgrounds of the people involved on my case provided a plan that left me feeling like my rights were protected in the way that they should be. I felt like all I had to do was retain them as my legal counsel and let them do the rest. I was supposed to get a huge hit in more ways than one, but LVDG protected me. Thanks LVDG!

Called in and I set up an appointment very quickly. I had great customer service from calling into the law firm and meeting with the case manager. I went to the law office since I had 2 cases that were going on. I want to thank Neil Shouse and the Las Vegas Defense Group for allowing me to come in and getting some advice and help. I highly recommend this firm to others if they are in need of help with any criminal defense problem.

I was referred to Neil's law firm by one of my daughters classmates in California. The office staff were perfect and took care great care of us. Every single person in the office was very caring and compassionate. Our attorney Daniel was there for us during these tough times. He always made sure that we understood what was going on and was very understanding of our situation. We could tell that he genuinely cared about me and my case. I truly couldn't ask for a better attorney or law firm. If you are looking for an attorney, you've found the best!

I will be sharing my experience of when I used the Las Vegas Defense Group: I was charged with a DUI above 0.18, which could have negatively impacted my personal life and career. I was very worried about what could happen when I first started going through this stressful process. The Las Vegas Defense Group was there for me the entire time. They treated me as an individual person instead of just another case number. They were very upfront and forthcoming about the facts of my case and what could possibly happen. They truly put all of my fears at ease. Thankfully, they explained everything in depth before I even stepped into court. The possible outcome of the original charge would have been devastating to my career, but thankfully they got it reduced to a lesser charge which allowed me to keep providing for my family and continue on with my life and put this situation behind me. Since the case resolved and I didn't have to go to trial, I was spared the embarrassment of having to face the police officers and witnesses. I recommend this law firm to anyone facing criminal charges!

This review is a bit long but I warn those who are not wealthy or "known". I would never hire or recommend Neil. Sadly, I made quite a few mistakes in life as a young adult and needed help. Neil offered me a free consultation as long as I retained his services. He told me all kinds of great information, promised he'd deliver. Within a few weeks, I retained him w/cash borrowed from family & friends. His "assistant" couldn't find the receipt book that day so she said she would email me. Since then, Neil was unreachable. He didn't show up for court and I was detained. After serving time: whenever I called the office, his assistant said she had no record of me ever paying or being a client and there was no file for me. They knew I needed help with getting funds together. This by far was my biggest mistake. I've learned valuable lessons, and will NEVER hire an attorney again. My faith brought me through, and that's the only thing keeping me out of trouble.

Neil Bryan Shouse’s response: “I don't remember any encounter like this, and I don't believe the story is true. None of it is consistent with our policies. First, we always offer a free consultation and the person has absolutely no obligation to hire our firm. We never put pressure on anyone. Second, we would never accept a cash payment from anyone without providing a receipt and a written retainer agreement. Third, we always make all of our court appearances and we return every client call every day. If there was a misunderstanding with this person, then I would welcome him or her to call me personally and I would do whatever I could to rectify the situation.”
  • Felony DUI to Dry Reckless

I was involved in a traffic collision and arrested for DUI. Even though my PAS was a 0.09, the California Highway Patrol recommended a felony DUI due to the injuries suffered by the other party. I was understandably shaken by all of this and felt very lost in the process.

A friend recommended that I hire Neil to help me sort this out, which in the end turned out to be the best decision ever.

Neil and his team were very knowledgeable and were very hands on from the beginning. They were able to calm my nerves and explain the process to me based on their years of experience. Neil, in particular, was attentive to my questions and would call me even on a Sunday just to answer the millions of questions I had. Ninaz Saffari was the attorney assigned to my case and because of her vast experience in the LA county courts, she was extremely familiar with the policies of each prosecutor's office and knew how to present my case in the best light possible.

Together, they came up with a strategy and after some laborious negotiations, the felony DUI charge was reduced to a dry reckless. I never once thought I would be in that situation, but when it all happened, I am glad I hired Neil and his team.

Karthik Krishnan was excellent. He is very knowledgeable, was always there when I needed him, always kept me informed of everything that was going on, and fought his tail off for me. I'm so glad I found the right lawyer! If you're looking for a DUI lawyer in Southern California you have to call Shouse Law Group.
