Taylor House

About me

My entire practice is dedicated to family law. I take a no-nonsense, results-oriented approach to helping central Arizona clients resolves complex issues in all areas of family law, including divorce, child custody, alimony and asset division.

Family law matters can be emotional and complicated, particularly when children are involved. Parties must often confront choices that will profoundly affect their future and that of their loved ones. To protect your interests in a contested family law case, you should seek the help of a qualified, experienced attorney who can guide you through the entire legal process.

The term "family law" encompasses a broad range of subjects -- divorce, legal separation and annulment; child custody, visitation and support; cohabitation; domestic partnership; parentage actions; and juvenile dependency matters, to name just a few. If you are in need of legal advice and/or representation in any of these or related areas, I welcome you to schedule a consultation with my office to discuss your legal problem.

Limited Scope Representation

In addition to full representation in family law matters, I also offer limited-scope representation for clients representing themselves in a family law matter. Rather than hire an attorney to move their case through the family court system, these clients are computer-savvy, are able to access and compile necessary documents and can litigate or settle their case with minimal -- yet very necessary -- legal advice and guidance. In response to these needs, I offer what is commonly known as "unbundled legal services".

If you are representing yourself (pro se) in a family law matter (divorce, separation, modication of custody or child support, domestic violence protection order, trial or arbitration), I can help you:

  1. Start the litigation

  2. Draft your documents

  3. Represent yourself in family court

  4. Respond to discovery requests

  5. Attend mandatory mediation with my assistance

  6. Prepare and coach for arbitration and trial

With limited-scope representation, I can help you as much or as little as you need, and if your "unbundled" case moves into litigation mode, you already have an attorney who is up to speed on the details.

Mr. House exemplifies the values sadly lost among many in our profession. He's courteous, responsive, and civil. He effectively advocates for his clients without unnecessary hostility and combativeness. His clients certainly benefit from his professionalism and cordiality.
