I help clients resolve business disputes primarily involving contracts & licensing agreements, and Internet, technology & privacy law. Before becoming an attorney, I spent many years on the road as a professional musician, and I use that experience to help clients in the media and entertainment industries.
When I practiced with a big law firm, my practice was mostly litigation, but now that I run my own firm, my practice is more diverse, which is largely because a lot of the work that I do for entertainers and other creative professionals requires expertise in general business law. As a result, I advise of clients both inside and outside the entertainment industries on creating business entities—and systems and policies to run those businesses—to reduce their exposure to risk of litigation.
Our firm is paperless, and we run on Mac computers. We are committed to client service, and more specifically, changing the way people think about attorneys, and law firms.
When I'm not practicing law, you can find me running (either literally, or just chasing after my kids), biking, or swimming (a/k/a unwinding at the beach). Although I enjoy golf, I rarely play; instead, I spend my time grooming my lawn, in my neverending quest to turn my yard into Augusta National.

I endorse this lawyer. Joseph Bahgat is a competent, detailed oriented attorney, who has substantial expertise and knowledge in drafting contracts and legal memorandum. I would be happy to work with him again in the future.
