I have used Steve Oberman during the last several years in both civil (personal injury) and criminal cases for both myself, my family (speeding tickets, etc.) and my employees (DUI and more serious felony charges). Having used other lawyers in the past, I can tell you that employing Mr. Oberman and the firm of Oberman & Rice has been a pleasant surprise. He always returned my calls before he went home for the day and everyone in his office took a personal interest in the cases of my family and my employees. Needless to say, we have all obtained great results when using this firm.



I particularly enjoy the personal attention I receive. Steve was always willing to meet with me – even once on the weekend just to calm my nerves. After watching how thoroughly he prepares his cases, I can see how he wins most cases. I particularly liked his use of demonstrative aids such as PowerPoint in my employee’s dui case. As you can tell with my "Excellent" rating for all categories when judging Steve's performance as my attorney in a DUI charge, I was extremely please with his knowledge, professionalism and most importantly his results. I had a very difficult case that involved an accident. Steve and his team were very thourough in attaining all of the facts of the case and using them to help me get a settlement that I was very happy with. The biggest thing with Steve that I was impressed with was how much he really seemed to care about my case. I know he had a bunch of cases going on at the same time, but everytime I called him or saw him in person he knew exactly what was going on with me. Steve didn't go for the fastest result he went for the result that was best for me. I would highly recomend Steve to anyone including my friends, family or most importantly myself.

I was arrested for DUI in Feb. but had a previous (although expunged) record of underage consumption from a few years ago. This previous arrest made a favorable outcome look much harder to obtain. I was given Steve's name from a friend, by way of a friend, so I posted a request for contact on his website. Within minutes, Steve himself called me back!
His level of commitment didn't diminish as my case proceeded; he was always there to answer any questions I or my parents had. As I said above, my case wasn't an easy run of the mill case, but Steve was always super prepared in court and always seemed to stay one step ahead. The end result was things worked out well for me, and that was all thanks to his work.

Very knowledgable and professional attorney. I had a very complex and messy situation, but Mr. Oberman immediatly formulated a plan and took action on Monday morning after the dui on Saturday night. Steve will retrieve the tape of the arrest and really go through it with a fine toothed comb for any loopholes. I could go further but I am out of words.
