Mr. Barnette has helped me deal with not only one Original Creditor but two big banks (Cap1 and Barclays) that I stood no chance of winning as Pro Se. I have been able to get very favourable debt settlement and on my way to rebuilding my credit. He is very knowledgeable about the whole legal system and knows and has a good working relationship with the other side that represents the creditors. I made a great choice to pick Barnette Law Offices for my representation.

I am suppose to be a current client of Mr. Barnette and the last communication I have had from him was back in March. I have attempted to contact my attorney (Mr. Barnette) several times to get further information. I have emailed him directly (now getting a error message stating the email is not working), I have emailed the main office (to be informed they would have him follow back up with me, this was back on May 18th still no follow up), I have called the office and his cell number he has given me and still no return contact. I have never worked with someone who has not cared to communicate with his clients. I consider it very unprofessional, My case was started back in August of 2014 and I have yet to hear any word as to my attorney making any improvements. I have already settled 6 accounts since this one started. All of which I was communicated with every step of the way. Would not recommend.

I am dealing with a lawsuit from Portfolio Recovery Associates. Mr. Barnette is very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions quickly, without demanding payment first. He told me exactly how he is going to handle the case, instead of giving vague answers that so many before him have done. He also posts free info on message boards, which I believe shows how genuine he is as a person in helping people.

The best thing that ever happened to me was finding Jason Barnette on line. I was in a mess with credit card debt and didn't want to file bankruptcy and no one else would help me. But he did. He called me back right away and he was worth every penny I ever paid him. Don't know where I would be without him!!

A caring individual - and an excellent attorney to represent you in any situation !
Mr. Barnette has always delivered on his promises, keeps you in the loop and is never stingy with his advice even before you hire his expertise.
I can't see myself ever going to another attorney.

There is no way I would have gone it alone without the professional help of Mr. Barnette.
After being sued for a credit card debt by a big bank, there was no way I would have made
it on my own as Pro Se in the small claims court. What I have noted is that Mr. Barnette is well known in legal circles and most especially the law firms that sue debtors. So I did not only retain some one to defend me in a debt case but also some one that is known well by the other side. I have just got one of my cases settled for just 25 percent of the total debt. I would have walked straight into a judgement against me (paying the full debt plus court costs) if it wasn't for Mr. Barnette. Anyone with debt issues I would advise them to contact him for advise and defense.

I have been employed by DCSO (Davidson County Sheriff Office) and they wanted to get rid of me because I was not hard enough to work at the jail. So, they found a reason to terminate me. A ridiculous one. I filed for unemployment benefits and due the made up termination of DCSO I was denied of it. I contacted Jason Barnette and he immediately appealed the decision and a hearing was set. Mr. Jason Barnette could uncover the lies of the DCSO and the made up terminations, so that my benefits were granted. I can highly recommend Jason Barnette if you have trouble with UE Benefits and a former Employer. He is also a very sympathic person. Thumbs Up!

Back in December, I found out I was being sued by a large debt collector. Panicked, I began calling many of the consumer attorneys in the Nashville area, only to be told that my only recourse was to settle or pay-in-full.
That's when I called Jason. He took the time to listen to my circumstances and immediately informed me that I had various defenses to challenge the suit in court and assured me that I would never have to pay a cent to these bottom-feeders that took my $3,000 debt and ballooned it to more than $10,000. In August of this year, my cases were dismissed with prejudice in General Sessions court and the debt collector agreed to negate my debts and promised to never sell them to anyone... all due to the diligence and legal expertise of Jason Barnette.
If you're being sued by a debt collector, Jason Barnette is the attorney you need on your side. I can't begin to describe the wealth of knowledge he has in dealing with such matters. He was patient, understood my anxiety, and responded immediately to my questions. Be patient, as these matters do not resolve themselves overnight, and trust Jason to take care of you. You will not be disappointed.

Mr. Jason Barnette came to my aid when it seemed impossible to deal with debt collectors - who seemed able to trump up amounts they pulled out of thin air, then sue me to collect. He was knowledgeable, accurate (and prompt) in his assessment of the situation, and was able to mount a defense on my behalf. My cases have since been dismissed with prejudice.
To say he is a godsend to potential victims such as I could easily have become, is putting it mildly. I highly recommend his law offices, not only because of the results he accomplishes, but for his decency of spirit which was what I needed most through my time of trial and tribulation. Heartiest thanks.
