Lawyer's Comment: This is Joseph Gufford writing. I have no idea whom the person who wrote this review actually is. I have my suspicions but for the life of me cannot think of any case in which we have not performed well in Court. That is not to say that we haven't lost any cases in the last 6-12 months, but those are very few and far between considering we have trials and evidentiary motions at least every week and sometimes multiple times per week. Also, I have had to withdraw from several cases due to clients not following instructions or disregarding our legal advice. In any event, to say that I am unresponsive and disorganized is completely incorrect. Every file in the office is managed by a paralegal whom is assigned the task of keeping the file moving along, preparing trial notebooks for trials and assisting me with the day to day management of the case and if appropriate, the trial of the case. Unfortunately, we don't win all of our cases despite our best efforts. In certain instances, clients take actions or legal positions that are against our advice that we later have to defend in court. Sometimes, regardless of whether we do a great job in Court, we are unable to defend our client's actions or the Court disagrees with our legal position. That's why there are appeals courts. Because I cannot identify the poster of this review, I think it might be an opposing party who wants to sully my reputation or a client who had an adverse ruling in their case or someone that we had to withdraw from representing.
