Arthur demonstrates outstanding skill of the law. I have been to court with mr. Brandt three times and every time we go he just accelerates his knowledge of the law highly highly recommend his Professional Services
Just want to thank you for the terrific job on my grandson's case. Don't know what we would have done with out your help throughout this entire ordeal. I believe that without your help and legal advise he would have been sitting in prison instead of getting much needed help and second chance.

Mr. Brandt - A Life Saver.
I was falsely accused of a crime by an ex States Attorney, who's husband is a deputy, she she pulled all kinds of favors from PBSO and court officials. Its was highly political, and complex.
Mr. Brandt blew them all out of the water, with a few polite objections.
Opposing parties know they have a fight on their hands when Arthur shows up. The judge new he was too honest to me out, and to spare these public officials from looking as corrupt, as they were, the judge did the accusers a favor by tossing my case out, as they would have been would have been exposed, for the liars they are.
4 hearings, and only took 100 purposely placed words from Mr. Brandt to shut down all, around each corner.
Mr. Brandt and The Letter of Law, is all you'll need to win the judge.

The best Lawyer for an adoption!!!
I was given the chance to adopt my son from a woman who was going to prison for a very long time. I had no idea who to contact or what lawyers even did family adoption. So I looked on the Internet and prayed for guidance. I asked an adoption question and it was answered promptly by Mr Arthur. It was Dec 22nd, when we spoke on the phone. He wanted to start immediately and asked me to meet with him on the 24th. Wow!!! The day before Christmas! So we met and he started immediately in the case. He visited the birth mother in jail and quickly had her sign paper work. Needless to say everything was done well before my son was born!!! 3 days ago he was officially my son. It was our last court date and Arthur was by my side. He even asked the judge if I could have a picture of him for my baby book. I also want to say that his paralegal was outstanding!!!! Stephanie Frazier worked just as hard and always kept in contact with me and answered any question I had. I thank God for leading me to this firm (Gufford and Brandt) and the wisdom to know this was the right lawyer. Thank from the bottom of my heart Mr Brandt and Ms Frazier!!

FIRM NO!
Absolutely useless. Incompetent. Lazy.
My house went into foreclosure because this guy ignored demands for a Loss Mit contract to be signed, for THREE months!!
The original filing looked like it was completed by an amateur. Giving benefit of the doubt, I have to assume it was a template he used from a prior client and failed to update with information from my case.
The filing claimed I received Disability income and that no children involved. Both are completely FALSE! The financial affidavit filed, literally listed absolutely nothing. It just stated over and over again, “N/A, not in possession.”
He outright ignored repeated requests for missing financials. He didn’t prepare the final judgement, which is a requirement of the petitioner, and also required to set a final hearing.
I could go on and on…
Just don’t bother. You’re welcome!

Don't waste your money
Hired Arthur Brandt for a traffic ticket. Arthur Brandt never returned calls, postponed the hearing the day before it was scheduled with no respect for clients time off from work, suggested a meeting before the hearing to go over what to expect but the meeting was less than 2 minutes and made evryone feel ill prepared, acted like he didn't even know his clients in the courtroom before the judge walked in and after the ruling, put on a dog and pony show the entire time.

I respectfully disagree with my client’s position, but ethics and confidentiality prohibit me from responding in any other way. I maintain that I engage in communication with my clients. Our office policy is to return calls the same calendar day if received during business hours. I take all action on behalf of my clients that are ethical and advocate zealously on their behalf.

Dishonest and lazy
Hired Brandt to get money owed from a
Previous employer. Should of been a easy
Case where a demand letter and then a suit
Was filed in 30 days. Paid Brandt $3500
Up front. After months passing and several
Calls, no suit was filed. Finally complained
To Florida Bar and he sent back $1000 of
The. Incidental money. I lost $20,000 because of his unethical behavior

I respectfully disagree with my client’s position, but ethics and confidentiality prohibit me from responding in any other way. I maintain that I did nothing outside the bounds of the contract for which my client and I were bound by and I followed all the proper procedures of the Court. The Florida Bar agreed with my position as is indicated by their not taking any action.

Did the bare minimum
I hired Brandt to represent me. I paid him up front and he basically stopped accepting my calls after the checked cleared. I was in a county jail and he would not accept my phone calls and would not mail me a discovery packet because he said I did not pay for postage. In court before sentencing he came back and told me I was getting probation and I would be fine . Only after did I realize that it was house arrest that I was signed up for..I would recommend finding a lawyer that will work after they've been paid

This person only hired me for his arrest in Martin County, Florida. He was then arrested in St. Lucie and Indian River Counties. I did not represent him in those counties although he promised payments but never made them. I visited my client in jail multiple times and resolved his case successfully. I provided him with the opportunity to review his documents in jail, but did not make copies of the vast discovery for him to keep. My office policy is only to accept collect calls from clients who have paid for that extra service. This client was aware of the policy as I spent hours talking to his grandmother both during and after office hours at his request.

Please read this before hiring this man
I had never had any criminal issues before hiring Brandt and didn't know what to look for in hiring a criminal attorney. DON'T make the same mistake I did in hiring this man. Six years ago, I was on my way to the airport to pick a friend's family member up. It was me and two friends in the car. We had taken 95 south to get to the airport. I needed to use the restroom badly and so we stopped right off the exit in Rivera Beach at the closest gas station.
I went into the gas station and was informed that the restroom was out of order. The clerk said I could go around back if I just was needing to pee as it was private. So I ran around to the back. Not yet unzipped, a police officer appeared and yelled asking what I was doing. I told him I was about to pee. Immediately, he handcuffed me and put me in his patrol car. The officer didn't ask my name, who I was with or if I had a vehicle, he just put me in the back of his car and took me to the police station. My friends had no idea what to do as all of this happened within maybe three minutes of us arriving at the gas station. They couldn't even get out of our car and over to the cops car before the officer had pulled off with me in the back. I spent almost 24 hours in the Palm Beach Count Jail charged with INDECENT EXPOSURE.Me, a professional man, never having any criminal history, was locked up and charged with the same crime as a FLASHER or PERVERT for ALMOST peeing in the back of a gas station in a private area. The day after, I called different Criminal Attorneys I had found on Google.
The only attorney that could see me the same day was Brandt. I came to his office, told him what happened. He said he would need a $1,500 retainer and that he could get this dropped immediately. I told him I was very worried as I am in a professional career that requires no criminal history and in addition, I knew I had done nothing wrong. He assured me that he would resolve the issue and I would be cleared and have no record. I asked if he would check to see if there were cameras at the gas station so we could prove that I had not even unzipped yet and he said yes, he would do that and get statements from my friends. So, trusting that he was a man of his word, I paid him the $1,500 that day. After not hearing back, I started calling to find out what had been done.
I knew from talking to my friends that he had not tried to contact them for statements. I spoke with Mary at his office who assured me that their office was working on the case. I knew there was a court date coming up and still had had no contact from Mr. Brandt. Mary continued to string me along telling me they were working on my case. No one called. At this point, I didn't know what to do so I took matters into my own hands. I drove down to the gas station and talked with the manager and got a copy of the video from the night of the arrest. I sat down with my friends and asked them to write down everything they witnessed. I then called Mr. Brandt's office and told them what I had done and asked what I should do with the information I had gathered. I finally got thru to Brandt, he said I had done a good job collecting the info and he would call me back.
He didn't call me, NEVER talked to witnesses or viewed the videotape. I still hadn't talked with him again until the morning of court. We went before the judge and prosecutor and I told them I had witnesses. The prosecutor said she knew nothing about any witnesses and that she hadn't even talked to Brandt about my case. After hearing me speak about my witnesses, the prosecutor said they would dismiss the case if I could prove I had done volunteer work. Brandt said "take that deal" and you'll be done with this. Not knowing what court terms mean, I asked Brandt if this meant it would be taken out of the record and he said yes.
Last week I found out I lost a job because this is still on my record. Now i have to hire a new attorney.

I am so sorry for your situation. At the time your case was resolved you were advised to have your arrest sealed/expunged. Had you followed my advise your employer would not have had access to the records.
All of my clients have 24 - 7 access to me via cell phone.

He was the worst lawer in history
I want to warn anyone who even thinks of hiring Arthur Brandt. He was extremely unprofessional and he did not do what I hired him for. I hired Mr. Brandt to represent me in Florida because I had a court date in another state ,on the same date as the one in florida, making it impossible to be in both courts on the day. I gave Mr. Brandt all the information he needed to inform the other court my other lawyer in the other State that I would not be able to be present. He had 12 days to get the proof, when we went in front of the Judge and told him I had court on the same day as the day I was supposed to be in Florida court the Judge asked me if I had any proof of the other court date. I looked at Arthur and he just shrugged ! He had two weeks to make a couple of phone calls and get a fax from my other court and he did NOTHING! BUT TAKE MY 2,000 dollars I spent 30 days in jail because of this man, DO NOT USE ARTHUR BRANDT!

This client hired me in 2010 and failed to be truthful to both myself and to the Judge. I contacted the attorney in New York as instructed but the story he told me did not match what this client had said. As a result of his failure to be honest to the court he was sentenced to 30 days. I performed all the work I was hired to do and it was a result of my legal skills that this client only served 30 days in jail. Had I not tempered his falsehoods, his sentence would have been much worse. It is of the utmost importance to always be truthful with your attorney.
