I have worked with Mrs. Noriega-Allen for the past 18 months on a divorce case that a previous attorney really messed up for me. I cannot rave enough about this attorney! She is extremely knowledgeable and really helped my case. My case wound up going to a 2 day trial and she was excellent in the courtroom. Even the judge commended her organizational skills. Mrs. Noriega-Allen is also very compassionate if you are the type that will need a little hand-holding while going through one of the most difficult times of your life (I believe she told me she also had a degree in counseling). She will return your phone calls in a timely manner (my previous attorney was awful with this). Everyone on her legal team that assists her is knowledgeable and helpful. After hiring an attorney who almost ruined my life I wish that I could yell out to everyone in need of an attorney to hire Marta. Her legal expertise truly changed my life and was worth every single dime. I am a female, but I have learned through my conversations with her that she represents a lot of men as well. Please don't make the mistake of hiring the wrong attorney when dealing with matters of your children and family like I did in the beginning. That was a costly experience in more ways than one. I am so thankful that I had Marta represent me and I will continue to use her in any future legal proceeding that I may have come up. I highly, highly recommend her.

Last year I hired MERIWETHER & THARP, LLC (M & T) to represent me in my divorce proceedings. I was very impressed with M & T from the first time I called the office to make an appointment, until my case was finalized. Although my ex-husband wanted to delay the process, trying to withdraw his petition, it took only three months for the divorce to go through. The first time I met with Marta, I was impressed by her professionalism, although she is an attorney, she was very personable and I could tell that she understood my needs, I did not want a contentious divorce and she approached the case as such. I simply wanted to end the marriage with dignity and grace. Nevertheless, I knew I would have been in great hands the second time we met. I remember going to see Marta on a Friday afternoon at 3:30 PM after my ex wanted to file a withdrawal, which I did not want. I wanted him to be held accountable to the divorce he filed eight days earlier. I explained that to Marta but I did not bring any of the papers my ex gave me to acknowledge his filing of the petition. She asked me a few questions and what I could recall from memory of his petition. She then explained my options, and noted I could file a counter claim. In doing so, I would not have to file a new petition and pay a fee and he would still be accountable and would need to follow through with his divorce. Marta and her team at M & T were very proficient, they got to work immediately and from the time I arrived at her office on that Friday, it took only 30 minutes for her to hand me a counter claim to read and approve. By 4:30 her paralegal was on the way to file my counter claim at the county clerk’s office!

I have since recommended M & T to anyone who has a need for a divorce lawyer, and my ex likes to say, “You and your army of lawyers rammed the divorce through, even though I really did not want it.” I hope he learned his lesson, be careful what you wish and file for!

Marta proved to be an excellent lawyer for my specific needs. Her education and experience even prior to becoming a lawyer was extremely helpful in my situation. The only instances where I experienced frustration was occasionally when I was advised of one specific "rule" and it turned out to be different. Perhaps it was a case of miscommunication.

Marta not only has the knowledge she has the heart. She truly cares for you and your situation. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a divorce lawyer I believe she provides other services besides divorce, but it is the only service I have used. I believe she is one of the best out there.

Marta was very fair and was on my side. She did not work up any excessive bills. Very personable. Sometimes a little tough to reach but probably because she has a lot of clients that like her.

It was a sad winter night, i was sad, unhappy, and depressed, when i walked into miss Noriega's office. She quickly relaxed me and explained my options.
