Ellen was ill prepared and more concerned with her billing rate and fees than our case. She was combative for no reason, would make completely contradictory comments and then would turn over to a junior attorney or just leave. Very difficult to deal with.
My experience with Ms. Fischer was horrific. I retained her for my divorce and it was a nightmare. She was ill prepared, couldn't get the facts straight and overall unable to do much of anything. Ms. Fischer would often suggest to me that perhaps we weren't "a good fit" as she continued to bill me instead of resigning if SHE felt that way. She was easily confused and needing me to help her do her job. Also, her ethics as an attorney are very poor. My experience, as you can see, was not good.
Ellen went above and beyond to help me. She was extremely knowledgeable in child custody, and gave great advice. Ellen took the time to explain all the options, as well as offered advice on how to proceed. She understood my concerns for a child who could be put into potential danger, an was willing to help protect them.
I have been a client of Ellen's for almost 3 years. She has always worked hard for me, and together we've had many successes in court. She gets things done in a timely manner, and always has my best interests at heart. She is very personable and caring, as soon as I met her I felt comfortable with her and have trusted her with the management of all of my separation, child support, custody, and divorce issues. I have always been happy with Ellen's results and would highly recommend her to anyone who needs a wonderful lawyer!
