I have known Ellis for over 20 years as we attended the same college. He has all the characteristics you would want in a lawyer and will work extremely hard to get to you the best result possible. I know this first hand as I am a lawyer in the Philadelphia area and I have and will continue to refer my clients to Ellis for his expertise.

The smartest step I took was finding Ellis to handle my sons case for speeding..he took all control and filed all the paperwork with the courts with only days till or deadline..my son was facing a 3month suspension of his license plus 4 or more points ..long story short the suspension was put on hold as Ellis filed appeals in Doylestown and Harrisburg..Ellis called and keep me updated and next thing you know we recevied a letter saying that my sons license WON'T BE SUSPENDED ..and a few weeks later received another letter saying all point were being deleted too...wow there was hope..and all from only 1 office visit to Ellis..so if you think there is NO hope..call Ellis..he's a super nice guy and a great lawyer..thank you again Ellis for all you have done for my son and myself ..

There is only one word that could describe Ellis Klein "THE BEST". Because of him I am on house arrest right now for only 30 days instead of doing 1 year in jail. I got my 2nd Dui in Bensalem earlier this year, I went and spoke with him about my situation and from day one he was honest with me and told me what was going to happen when we went to court. He came up with a plan for me that would give me the best chance in front of a judge. He was constantly in touch with me to make sure I was following the plan. When we went to court, I got a judge that does not give house arrest and was looking at jail time because Ellis knew the judge. Because of his experience and his quick thinking he went to the DA that he has an excellent relationship and made a deal to get me only 30 days house arrest. When the judge called my name she was furious and did not want to approve the plea. But because she knew Ellis Klein and did not want to go against the DA she had to approve it. I am so glad that I hired him, because all the other people that were in court with me got jail time. My family and I are so grateful to him, and would definitely recommend him. He is very experienced and has an excellent relationship with the Bucks county DA and judges.

Let me save you a lot of reading. I have read most of the reviews below this one. Every one of them is a strong recommendation of Ellis Klein, and for good reason - he is the absolute best. Ellis helped us with the arrest of a family member on drug charges. The charges carried severe penalties. Ellis helped our family member to gain admission into drug court, where upon successful (fingers crossed) completion, charges will be reduced to misdemeanors. Throughout the very long process of getting to this outcome, Ellis was just fantastic. In addition to providing wonderful legal representation, he was compassionate and understanding of the family dynamics involved. Some of you may have had the experience of finding that perfect doctor when a family member is critically ill. Ellis Klein is that perfect lawyer. Your search is over.

I received Ellis’ letter when I needed legal help desperately. I went to this website and found very impressive comments on him, which made me decide to hire Ellis to represent me for my legal case. The whole process and the ending story of my case proved that all those amazing reviews are true. Ellis successfully got the criminal charge dropped due to his great work and his relationship with the officer. I don’t think anyone esle can do a better job than Ellis in handling my case. He is a very knowledgable and experienced lawyer and also a thoughtful and honest gentleman. I feel very comfortable to communicate and work with him. He made a detailed analysis on my case and proposed several strategies which turned out working very well for my case. I am so luck to know Ellis when I need legal help and having him to handle my case is the best decision I have ever made. Ellis is always there for his clients and always responses to questions very quickly. He likes to take challenges and fights for every chance that can lead to the best result for his clients. With my experience, I strongly recommend Ellis to anyone who needs legal assistance - he is the best lawyer in this business.

Ellis literally gave me a new lease on life. I was facing a DUI, which would have affected my livelihood,my freedom and which would have left me with a criminal record. It would have been impossible to find gainful employment with a criminal record. Mr. Klein was able to have all the evidence suppressed and the conviction overturned by challenging the officers cause for pulling me over.He was very thorough, leaving no stone unturned. His demeanor in court was confident and knowledgeable. In a commonwealth of mandatory minimums he was my only hope. He saved my reputation and my family from facing serious economic hardship. Thank You

If you have a criminal case in Bucks County, absolutely go with Ellis. I was facing many counts of felonies. I was cleared of all chargers contingent on a few hours of community service. He was in constant communication with the DA is well known there.

I hired Ellis 6 months ago for my DUI case. He suggested ARD, as this was a first offence. He instructed I simply do alcohol related evaluations and other such classes along with community service. Once completed, we appeared before the judge, and I was granted pardon for my dreadful mistake. I will be on non-reporting probation for 1 year, and then the DUI vanishes completely off my record. I never plead guilty to the DUI and reserve the right to honestly state I have never been convicted of any crime, etc. on work related applications. Without the help of Ellis, my nursing dreams would have instead come to an abrupt and devastating end. Ellis was not only extremely knowledgeable, but very reassuring throughout the whole process. Given the exceptional service and representation, I would say he was more than reasonable with pricing. He, and his representatives, work tentatively to answer any and all questions, even after business hours! I can confidently say I suggest none other than Ellis to represent you, in the case of a DUI. I have even since then referred close family friends to his office. I can't thank Ellis enough for his services, for representing me, and for continuously keeping in touch throughout the terrifying process. IF YOU BY CHANCE SEE THIS, THANK YOU AGAIN FOR EVERYTHING!

I received a DUI recently and received a whole mess of letters from area lawyers offering their services. Ellis's letter stuck out because it was enclosed with a very informative book about the DUI process. I sought his free consultation and, because I work for lawyers, thought I could handle the rest myself given the information I received and the research I had independently done. WRONG. I thought my case would be simple, first offense, acceptance into the ARD program...but due to a detail that I had missed, not realizing that because of that detail the DA's office had some discretion in the decision, and the fact that I went about that process on my own, my application was rejected. It was at that point that I called Ellis to retain his counsel. He wrote an appeal letter to the DA to which we added many character reference letters at Ellis's suggestion. I know that without all of these letters an appeal would have gone nowhere and I would have had to withstand trial; he was able to negotiate with the DA and I was ultimately accepted into the program in exchange for a slight increase to my community service requirement. Ellis also represented me at my hearing (what would have been my trial) where I was able to see him in action. In addition to his solid and self-assured presence in the courtroom, he is charming and charismatic, and it is obvious that he has built a very good relationship with courtroom personnel on both sides of the bench. I know now that I should have retained him right from the start; I was trying to save money, but his fee was very reasonable and well worth the investment. In any event, it worked out favorably. Thank you, Ellis.

Ellis is a consummate professional. His knowledge and understanding of the process was most valuable. His guidance and advice was honest and straight forward. He is easy to work with and made the case as painless as possible. I would highly recommend him to others.

Ellis helped me immensely in handling a first-time DUI. Although I had refused to take a blood test, he was successful in getting me into the first time offender program (ARD) so that I could avoid a long-term criminal record and minimize the duration of my driver's license suspension. Because I was able to complete my community service, alcohol evaluation and Alcohol Highway Safety course as well as pay all fines prior to my court date, I was eligible for the (6) month ARD program vs. the (12) month program which was an immense relief. Ellis and his assistant Lindsey were very empathetic and responsive and Ellis is very familiar with the court system and its members in Bucks County.

Thanks to Ellis, I had all my ducks in a row. It appears that all his other clients did too, and thats because of his excellent management of our cases.
His services are affordable and he and his staff are accessible.
Ellis is well respected by the Judges we dealt with, the other Lawyers, and has a great relationship with Prosecutors and Law enforcement who are willing to work with him.
I am glad I chose Ellis Klein to represent me, and will whole heartily recommend his services to anyone who needs a Good Man, and a Good Lawyer.

I cannot say enough about Ellis Klein, I knew as soon as I met him I had made the right decision to
retain him for my sons case. He was very honest and forthcoming and didn't make empty promises.
He was very professional, but very real at the same time, made us feel very comfortable. My son was looking at 2 felonies and possible 5 yrs. in jail. In the end he got 1 year probation and the felonies were reduced to misdemeanors, which most of the time is unheard of. I firmly believe, if we
hadn't retained Ellis my son would be in jail right now. Bottom line is if you want an honest, caring,
professional attorney Ellis Klein is the man to call.

I received a letter from Mr. Klein's office after I was released on bail following an arrest for a robbery charge. It was my first offense, yet it was a very serious crime that carried up to 10 years in prison. Prior to contacting Ellis, I applied for a public defender because my family and I did not have the money to hire a personal attorney. The public defender I spoke to seemed very careless and told me I was most likely facing a maximum of 5 years in state prison and that my best case scenario would be 6 months to 2 years county time. I then decided to open the letter I received from Mr. Klein's office. After just one meeting with Ellis I knew that it was in my best interest to have this man represent me. He was very reasonable and understanding, and quite knowledgeable in criminal defense. He made no promises, but assured me that he would do everything in his power to help me through this difficult time in my life. And he sure did deliver. Not only did he have great suggestions to help me as a person, he also briefed me on what I could do to help my own case. We worked out a payment plan that he was very flexible and understanding with and to this day it was the best money I've ever spent in my life. He contacted me regularly to update me on changes, dates, case facts, etc. His staff was also very kind and courteous and always made me comfortable whenever I had to be at his office. And anytime I had questions or concerns, he was always available to answer whatever he could. Ellis was also hands on and personally involved in every aspect of my case. He did not delegate the work to another attorney like some other places do. Mr. Klein's expertise and experience was enormously crucial to my case and I would hate to think how things would have turned out if I had not opened his letter. When it was all said and done, I was given 1 year of probation. Quite a difference from the 6-24 months in prison the public defender had me hoping for. Ellis also ensured that my felony charges were dropped to less serious misdemeanors which will no doubt help me in my future. No words can express how grateful I am for Mr. Klein and all the hard work he put in to help me through such a difficult time in my life. A kind, respectful, and sympathetic man with a vast knowledge of the law. If you are truly concerned with your rights and freedom then you will not make the mistake of gambling with other attorneys and choose Ellis B. Klein to defend you.

Ellis Klein's outstanding knowledge of the law and his friendly relationship with police officers was instrumental in the amazing outcome of my case. I won't deny that Judge Brown was very generous and kind, but if Ellis had not worked with the officer who issued the citation to lessen the charges, I would be serving 6 months in jail. It would have impacted my life severely and broken my family apart. I highly recommend Mr. Klein.

Mr. Klein was readily available to my concerns and quick to respond to my questions. He spoke to me truthfully and explained what He would plead and what we might expect. He was most honest with my case and I would recommend his services to everyone.

Ellis Klein is a terrific attorney. He represented my son in an adult DUI case. Ellis was understanding and sympathetic yet very forthright regarding the seriousness of the issue. He was extremely knowledgeable of the process and kept us informed at every step. He was very accommodating of our schedule and often went out of his way to take on many of the administrative burdens that would have normally been our responsibility. He had a very professional presence, was confident (but not arrogant) and kept us calm throughout a very traumatic situation. He was a critical factor in my son receiving the best possible outcome from this DUI event.

I responded to an offer through the mail for a no-charge initial consultation over the phone and Mr. Klein was very knowledgble and easy to talk to. There was no pressure to retain him, just an offer to meet for a no-charge consultation at his office. At the consultation he was thorough and obviously competent, took his time with me, and explained the challenges and potential problems of my case. He explained what the procedure would be and what he would do for me. I hired him and was very satisfied throughout our entire relationship, which lasted about five months. His office staff was friendly and helpful, and I did not have any trouble getting answers to questions either from him or staff. Mr. Klein appeared to have a good working relationship with the police officers and judge we dealt with. I was extremely happy with the outcome of my case.

Ellis Klein put in a request for me to receive the ARV Program for people with first time offense. I was denied the first time. Ellis Klein wrote a letter to the DA asking him to rethink his decision. Within a week I was approved! I was very satisfied. Great lawyer to do business with.

I previously wrote about how I recieved house arrest but was not appoved to go to work in NJ. Ellis worked quickly and professionally to correct the issue. While we disagree as to whether my telling him or the CCO informing him to handle out of state work release we'll have to agree to disagree. I think he's proven himself to be a very good lawyer and will take the time in the future to inform and assure his clients approptiately in the future. He definitely deserves props on how he corrected the situation.

Ellis Klein is the best! I hired him for a dui over a year ago, and got a driving with license suspension afterwards. Ellis Klein not only kept me out of jail, but got my charges knocked down to less than the bare minimum, and I received a refund from all the fines I had to pay. Ellis was honest and trustworthy and worked hard to help me continue to rebuild my life back.

I would Highly recommend Ellis Klein to represent anyone who is facing a DUI charge. If you are perhaps a multiple offender than Ellis is your man. I was facing a 2nd DUI charge that could have snowballed into a 3rd or 4th offense very easily. With Ellis' representation and expertise, I was able to secure the charge of 2nd offense DUI.. My penalty was 6 months house arrest 24 months probation, 100 hours of community service and 1800 DUI fine. It could have been much much worse, but with Ellis Klein standing beside me in court and coaching me all along through the process things turned out for the best. I am able to keep my job, my little home and care for my daughter. Thanks Ellis, and I recommend this attorney highly for anyone who finds themselves in a stressful legal situation.

Obviously I was petrified about what was going to happen to me when I got a DUI. I contacted Ellis B. Lein through a recommendation from a friend.. It was the best thing I ever did. I felt comfortable with Ellis from our first meeting on. I could see Ellis was knowledgable and serious about his profession. Ellis made me feel like my DUI was our problem, not just mine, Ellis fully explained the charges, our options, and we put a plan together that made me feel 100% better about my situation.
Ellis kept in touch with me to make sure I was working to complete the plan we put together.
I completed the items that would make a positive impact on the legal authorities and prove to them that I was serious about my DUI and straightening out my life related to drinking. The police and township judge recognized my efforts and worked with me in regard to my mistake.
The sentencing judge immediately recognized and acknowledged my efforts to help my situation moving forward. I received the minimum sentence allowable which was a huge relief and obviously proved that the plan we put together was the correct avenue to follow.
Moving forward I would recommend Ellis B. Klein to represent any of my family and friends with a DUI or any other legal problems they may have.
Good Luck with your legal issue.

There is no other way to put it, Ellis worked a true miracle. Imagine your worst nightmare... reckless driving, 44 mph over the limit and illegal passing. That was my predicament and that is what I was cited for. Ellis worked the courtroom with professionalism and class personified. He successfully reduced my charges to a minimal 5MPH over the limit citation. THAT'S IT. No reckless driving, no illegal passing, no 44mph over the limit. I'll repeat it. Ellis got my sentence reduced to ONLY a simple 5mph over the limit citation. If you don't know, in PA, without Ellis I would have lost my license for 6 months and my insurance would have gone through the roof. I will recommend him to anyone in need. Words can't describe my gratification. Thanks, Ellis.

I was in a hard spot to handle when I wrote on a prescription, I didn't know, but when they would not take it at the pharmacy I went to the same brand pharmacy just in a different location telling them I had made a mistake, but they didn't care. I told the pharmacist what I did but it didn't matter. A tiny detail like changing one number on a prescription paper was a huge mistake; which landed me a 4-count felony charge. Then I got the best letter in the mail along with ten other ones; Mr. Klein's detailed letter stuck out from all the rest of the other lawyers. With honest words and a great background he was definitely my top pick. He got me out of trouble and made the charges disappear by having great relationships with other judges and DA's. Mr. Klein knows what he's doing well beyond any other lawyer, my parents and I were overall--impressed. I would recommend Ellis B. Klein any time to a friend or family member, so If you are looking for a lawyer for any reason, please, do not hesitate to seek out Mr. Klein, for his skills in law are a force to be reckoned with.

Mr. Klein has a strong knowledgeable background in criminal law which is why I first choose him. His confidence and understanding of people was both reassuring and accurate. Like most I had no courtroom experiences and he informed every step of the way. Leading to our day in court he worked with us to insure we had access to the necessary experts and paperwork to support our claims of ignorance. I say ignorance because there was guilt it was not however backed with bad intent and he helped us through it.
There were instances when I wanted to demonstrate what I thought to be valid points. He listened then explained and proved to be right with his advice. Listening it seems is not lost with Ellis and I would recommend him to loved ones with enthusiasm.

Gives you the information you need in a concise, easy to understand manner. Easy to talk to- listens to your concerns and responds knowledgeably. Empathetic to your unease but doesn't sugar-coat the facts. Seems to have a good rapport with court staff, DA and judges. Follows through with commitments.

Mr. Klein was able to meet all of my expectations. He was able to negotiate my ticket down and that was due to his prior knowledge of the district court where my case was being heard. He also had prior interaction with the officer, which helped. He kept me informed on what to expect, which helped. I would highly recommend Mr. Klein.

I contacted Mr. Klein in regards to a legal matter in which I thought I was wrongly accused by law enforcement. After discussing the matter with Mr. Klein I felt very confident in hiring him and his firm to represent me in this matter. Like any other new relationship I was not sure Mr. Klein could do everything he said he would be able to but I still felt, after talking to other attorneys that he would be the most likely to achieve a positive outcome with the greatest possibility of success for my case. My instincts prove to be right about Mr. Klein in his handling of my case as he delivered everything he promised. Further, Mr. Klein went above and beyond in his duties as my attorney when I had the unfortunate experience of having to handle a family medical emergency directly before my case with to court and Mr. Klein had to handle all of that as well. Regardless Mr. Klein took care of everything and handled my case perfectly! In the future if and when the need for legal representation surfaces I will be highering Mr. Klein and his firm again as well as referring them to all of my friends who may have legal needs as well!

I was pulled over for a speeding violation on I-95, in Bucks County by the Pennsylvania State Police in late January of 2012. I was clocked at 28 miles over the speed limit. I was looking at 5 points added to my license.
I've used Ellis in the past for another Speeding ticket over 3 years ago.
Ellis responded to my calls with prompt and professional service. As promised, he was able to reduce the points, saving me hundreds on my car insurance.

My former attorney Mr. Ellis B. Klein, took my case on head first with me and my parents doing eveything we both could think of to obtain the best possible outcome. In doing so Mr. Klein got a 2-4 years mandintory state sentence dropped to 4-14 months country prision sentence. Also proceeded to read my character reference letters and type up one of his own to help sway the judge to a lesser sentence. On top of that Mr. Klein skillfully came up with a series of questions to ask during the case to pinpoint specific details of our case that he wanted my parents and I to explain in our own words infront of the judge. Our case was presented, the DA wanted 6 months county for a minimum sentence and the judge let me off with 3 years probation. thank you once again Ellis. hope you read this.
