Does not communicate with Incarcerated Petitioners

I was appointed Mr Dougherty for my PCRA while I was incarcerated at SCI-Mahanoy. He reached out a couple times via scheduling telephone conference. He never kept his word. He would tell me he was going to get back to me within the month via a letter but it never would come. He filed things on my beh...alf without consulting me or notifying me. I would call his office to relay messages but would never hear back. This was during the few times someone would actually answer the phone. I would write letters and never receive a response. Plain and simple, it took me serving my sentence and being released for me to be able to write him via email and he still hasn't responded. He didn't have to take the case. The court of common pleas didn't force him. If he couldn't handle it he should've not taken it or passed it off. I will be filing a complaint with the board of disciplinary regarding him violating the rules of professional conduct.

Keeps his word with haste

Probation officer tried to keep me on probation ignoring the validity of a stipulation of a court document. Basically, the officers document didn't have typed what my document had so the officer argued against it. Entered office - paid - left office - next day a free man. ;)

Great Lawyer! DUI

Dennis did a great job walking me through everything with my DUI an making sure I understood everything and his rates are fair I would definitely recommend him

One of the good guys.

Ok. I don't know the law. I'm undereducated between my Adhd and my Huntington's disease... My brain is pretty occupied. He has your back. Between being a huge proponent of Veterans Court and the time he's put in to make sure I'm NOT a paranoid mess... yeah I'm pretty satisfied! He's one of the good g...uys.
