Simply the best all the way around. From the professionalism of the staff to the expertise of the attorney to the better than expected results of my case. I highly recommend.

I caution you NOT to hire this attorney. He is completely lacking in character and integrity and is not to be trusted. I am currently in the process of filing against him with the New York State Bar and am seeking ethics violations. I am also suing him to recover funds that he took that he was not entitled to. On top of all that, he did extreme damage to my case.

Mr. Borrelli handled my case with professionalism. My case was a difficult discrimination case that looked at times like it would not have a chance, but Mr. Borrelli never lost faith, was always in control and fought aggressively for me. It was hard during the case to always sit back and fully trust him because of all my emotion, but he reassured me the whole way and was more successful than even I thought I would be. I highly recommend him, a good attorney and a good person who cares. Treats his staff with respect also. I felt like I had a whole team fighting for me.

Went to his office and saw an associate of his. He would not look at any of the documentation that I brought in yet when I made the appointment, the secretary was excited by the fact that I have a lot of data. The associate hardly let me speak and talked rings around me nor did I get all of my questions answered. Charged me $150 for a half hour.
I received a letter from his office a week later and it had the basic information about the case wrong.
It was a total waste of my time and money.

I went to Mike for a minor employment issue, but because of his knowledge of the laws found there was much more that was incorrect than I realized. He worked with me patiently as I gathered the information required and took the time to represent me in an ethical and professional manner. He also took the time far after the case was settled to read over paperwork and advise a family member on an unrelated situation they were going through. He is a terrific lawyer.

Mr. Borrelli is a knowlegeable professional who treats his clients with the utmost respect. Along with Mr. Borrelli's knowledge of the legal system he takes the time to explain to a layman what the best course of action to take would be. Situations requiring an attorney can be stressful and I've always felt relaxed dealing with Mr. Borrelli and anyone on his staff. Step by step he kept me abreast on all actions taken and the communication with is office was open and honest.
Lawyer’s Comment:
It seems as though you let the fact that the "associate" told you that you may not have had facts sufficient to support a claim skew your view of the firm. Many potential clients bring in documents irrelevant to any potential claim, for instance, I had a potential client who wanted to appeal the decision of a trial court bring in student loan billing statements to show that she couldn't pay them as a result of the fact that she was fired from her job. Clearly, those billing statements did not need to be reviewed to analyze her potential claim. Further, the letter that was sent to you was a non-engagement letter stating that you did not retain the firm; it does not contain case specific information. Constructive criticism is a good thing, no firm can satisfy everyone, however, information you have posted is inaccurate so it will be difficult to learn from any mistake that was made. I encourage you to call our office, speak to me and allow me to explain or resolve any dissatisfaction you may have.
