About me

We are inspired to help our clients who want the security of knowing they have taken care of their family in the very best way.  We foster a long-term relationship with our clients in order to develop a plan ensuring  their family will be taken care of in the way they want even if they are not able to do it.  We emphasize our relationship with our clients so that we can understand their desires and translate them into documents such as healthcare directives, powers of attorney, wills, and trusts.  These legal documents are a necessity, but they are a byproduct of our relationship with our clients.

We charge only flat fees agreed to in advance.  We have no hourly fees, so you never get a surprise bill in the mail.

You can call us anytime.  If there is a matter of consequence, we will come to agreement on a flat fee before commencing work.

We also have affordable membership programs which you can join after your planning is in place.  These are great if you have ongoing legal needs,  want your plan reviewed on an annual basis, or want to be able to call on us at any time for certain matters without additional fees.  It’s like having a lawyer in the family.

We communicate with our clients regularly via emails, newsletters and phone calls so that we can help you keep your plans current with your changing family, your changing assets, and the changing law.  If your plan relies on your assets being titled in a certain way and you decide to take care of the retitling yourself, we follow up with you to help you get that done.  A plan that is done once, stuck in a drawer and never looked at again is not going to be the best plan to take care of your family when you most need it.  Some attorneys merely prepare documents for their clients once and don’t follow up over time and don’t make sure their clients assets are titled properly.  You’ll get a difference experience with us.

Lastly, and this is quite unique, we are flexible in the arrangements we can make.  Rebecca can “meet you where you are” with regard to explaining the process so that you understand it, meeting you at your house or office or in the evening, or arranging payments so that you can afford to take care of your family.  We want this to be as easy and comfortable as possible, so if you have something you’d like, please ask and we will certainly see what we can do!
