I was looking at five points on my licence, suspension and a hefty fine, but he made it all go away. all I got was a small fine and no record that the offence ever occurred. I would highly recommend this lawyer to anyone who has a serious pr problem with a traffic ticket or any motor vehicle offence.
Thomas Carroll Blauvelt is as remarkable as a man as he is a lawyer. His honesty and trustworthiness not only inspired me with a sense of hope, but allowed me to feel at ease when I was expecting the worse for my case. He was always responsive within minutes to any questions or concerns I may have had, and his offices always kept me up to date with my obligations for my case. It's very comforting to be kept inside the loop, especially with court/legal matters. The level of fairness Mr. Blauvelt provided even allowed me to make a comfortable payment plan for his retainer fee, which was very fair considering what the outcome of my case was, including Mr. Blauvelt removing one of my two major charges completely, as well as downgrade a $750 ticket which included possible jail time, to a mere fee of just under $190. Words cannot express Mr. Blauvelt's ability to achieve the best possible outcome for his clients because his actions speak louder than words. Never in my life have I felt more at ease and satisfied with the outcome of legal services and the level of professionalism he displayed and accomplished was truly admirable. If you are facing some legal troubles, Mr. Blauvelt is without a doubt the best option you can get. For the flat rate fee he requests of his clients, this man is doing a favor to the public for his outstanding services. Mr. Blauvelt truly is nothing but the best.
A lovely young woman named Nicole fought my case in lieu of Mr. Blauvelt. I had 7 tickets, 3 of which were pretty serious. I hadn't changed anything about my car since I'd bought it, including plates. So I got fictious plates, no insurance, no registration, unsafe tires, no inspection, provisional driving and no front plate. She reduced it to only 2 tickets, no points, no surcharges, just a $300 payment. I was out of the court in 10 minutes. Highly recommend.
I'm an international student & I got caught for shoplifting offence, and He got it DISMISSED. Best lawyer out there, if you're ever in this situation, I know the feeling, the heartache, HIRE HIM. He's the Experience you need. Results you want.
After I got a DUI my friend recommend MR. Blauvelt. My DUI involved a very high BAC and 5 tickets. I had many questions and Tom guided me through the process and answered all my questions. When we finally got the discovery from the state police, Tom found that the machine did not operate correctly and was able to get the BAC thrown out. I was looking at a year suspension and an interlock device for 7 months but Tom was able to get me the best possible outcome. I lost my license for 90 days and do not have to get an interlock. If you need a great, knowledgeable lawyer to help you with DUI or traffic related problems, Tom is your man
I was falsely charged with Burglary not to long ago and so I knew I had to get a lawyer that had experience in these matters. I went to a couple of lawyers before meeting Thomas, however, I just did not feel like they would represent me well as they showed no care. Meeting Thomas was a godsend as he looked me in the eye the whole time , asked the right questions, went through what can be expected and more importantly believed in me. I also liked how he charged only a flat fee rate for the duration of the case. And the fee was very affordable. The same day I met him I made my decision.
From then on, we mostly communicated by email. And yes, he does reply very promptly. The only thing that kind of bothered me was that I had to be the one who had to request for updates and any changes in court dates. I actually wasted a day off from my job because Thomas and his secretary failed to notify me earlier. Another little tidbit that frustrated me was that Thomas did not show up in the first court hearing but instead his associate (which I had no idea until I called). He did show up in the second and last court hearing.
Yet, the results of the case overshadow any little complaints I mentioned. He made a deal with the other lawyer to reduce the burglary charge to just an ordinance which is basically just a ticket/fine. I could not be happier with this result.
Getting charged with a DUI is the most embarrassing and scary ordeal which scars you for the rest of your life(background checks in my line of work are very common). it really humbles you and calls for a rude awakening to make better lifestyle changes.
I reached out to Thomas Carroll on a Sunday morning during labor day weekend and explained that i had been charged with a DUI and he explained patiently about the things he can expect once I engaged his services(one flat rate). His staff was very cooperative in communicating effectively the needs and expectations as a client. I had two summons to appear on court(in NJ) but did not have to be present in both the occasions(as i was out of state and would have been a big hassle for me to miss work for it).
Thomas was very patient and professional in explaining every documented question I had for him both via email (replies from him were in less than 20 minute duration and directly answered my questions) and phone conversations and there was no extra fees for any of this. these conversations made me and my family very comfortable in spite of the sediousness of the situation as it is very easy to be anxious about the forthcoming's.
we engaged the services of DUI consultants (Gil) who gave an expert opinion based on the case findings and was willing to testify if need arise. Gils report was very elaborate (7 pages),encouraging and positive.
By the time of the second summons, Tom was able to reach out to the DA and a plea to drop the DUI altogether and a guilty plea for a far lesser moving traffic violation. I was in tears when I heard this and felt I was given a second chance which is all i wanted. my family and I were extremely thankful and happy with the results of the case and I expressed my gratitude to Tom on what a wonderful and professional job he had done.Thank you again Tom. I will never forget the help of your services for the rest of my life and for giving me the second chance in life!
I will highly recommend Thomas Caroll and his for any legal matters if you think you deserve another chance in life at a very nominal fee and a satisfaction guaranteed result.
I was a NY Driver pulled over for a DUI in Sayreville, NJ by NJ State Police. I performed 5 FST's before being placed under arrest and taken in where I blew a .13. I was facing probable 7 month suspension (which would transfer to NY as well) and high fines. In NJ there is ZERO plea bargaining for DUI.
I called 7 lawyers, received 7 consultations and never once felt like I found the "right" lawyer, just bored people looking for an easy check in their pocket. I found Tom via this website and honestly thought it was a scam site since he had so many good reviews. I actually called one of the lawyers listed as an endorser and he said "you are choosing the best of the best - tell him I say hello".
I called Tom and he told me how he loves State Police cases since they tend to overlook things. The thing with DUI's in NJ is you need to find the hole in the case - and pick away at it until there's nothing holding your case firm - then you get the prosecutor or Judge to cut back the charge or at best, dismiss it. No one else told me this. I asked him how much. His cost was so much more reasonable than the others that I actually called back and asked if that was only half. Throughout the case, I had a ton of questions - Tom would email me back sometimes within minutes of my emails - if not than within the hour. I had THREE different phone numbers to contact him at. He led me through step by step what his plan is, and what his backup plan is. He didn't mind repeating himself to me or explaining it to me more deeply so I could understand it better. This man is passionate about what he does - he knows the law like no other - he knows how to find the hole in the case and pick away at it until it falls apart. This man is good - real good.
My DUI was dismissed due to lack of evidence - State Police never provided requested evidence. Tom took that base hit turned it into a Home Run.
Your mileage may vary - there may be a rock solid case against you and for that no lawyer in the State can help you. But if you want the best shot, Tom is the one you want.
I would definitely recommend Mr. Thomas Blauvelt!
I received a DWI and was looking at a 7-12 month license suspension and automatic interlock in my car.
He met with me and explained everything thoroughly.
Any questions I had he answered very clearly.
He requested my discovery and video footage from the police station.
He was at every court date on time and 100% ready.
If I had any further questions and needed to contact him he would respond in a very quick and timely manner.
I ended up getting a 7 month license suspension and no interlock in my car.
Mr. Blauvelt is definitely not a lawyer who just wants to take your money.
If you want a lawyer that will do his very best he is the one!
Back in June 2014 I was pulled over by a cop in South Brunswick because of a 911 caller about my driving. I was obviously not thinking and I should not have been on the road. I blew .09 at the breathalyzer test. I had maintained a good composure during my field tests but ended up with DUI + Reckless tickets facing bunch of charges. Also prosecution had a strong case with cop video recordings about my driving + 911 caller. My immediate reaction was to hire an attorney and turns out I made my first mistake. I signed up with a law firm in Woodbridge (starts with letter S*** Law Firm). I was connected with a paralegal, who responded very nicely until I paid my retainer. After that everything started going downhill. They didn't even bother to examine and discuss my case discovery. I was under tremendous discomfort since I didn't want to give up and end up with DUI on my license. While searching on internet, I found avvo.com and found Tom. When I called Tom I had already spent money with the other law firm, which would definitely not going to return money and do justice to my case. During my first call with Tom I felt he is genuine and no BS. I trusted the reviews and decided to substitute my lawyer. Tom is exceptional is an understatement. He ensured I hired a DUI expert, who was able to find that cops had conducted my DUI tests incorrectly. Interestingly DUI expert pointed out that the temperature gauge of the breathalyzer equipment was faulty hence recordings are not reliable. It seems anyone with a DUI case during that timeframe could potentially be dropped. Prosecution stated that during the trial. He was able to push back the prosecution to agree to drop all DUI charges. I ended up in a reduced reckless driving case and way less fine. Please do yourself a favor, if you need solid defense, just hire Tom. You will not regret it.
