Vivek Malek

I found Vivek in a time of need through an internet search. I found him to be both ethical and competent. He spoke to me in the free talk prior to consultation, and gave me the simple advice that I needed, and told me that though I can go through the paid consultation later if I want, this is all tha...t I need to know for my case. I was very moved by his ethical behavior and thought that I should give him a positive unsolicited review so that others like me looking for competent, ethical lawyers know that lawyers like him exist. This was in contrast to immigration lawyers who charged me $250 for 15 minutes of consultation and did not add value to what I already knew. I would pay and go again for my immigration law needs. The above captioned title is a summary of how I would describe Mr Malik as an Attorney after my experience with him in the way he handled my brother's case with ICE. My brother had been taken in custody pending deportation after an unsuccessful appeal with the Board of Immigration Appeals as a result... of poor representation by another mediocre attorney. I had spoken with or visited about 10 Attorneys before I met Mr. Malik, all of whom were either hesitant or scared to take my brother's case or portrayed his case as a very hard/hopeless expensive bargain. At least that is how their responses sounded to me. I was so desperate and did not know who to hire as all those attorneys painted a picture of a near impossible case. When I met Mr Malik though, he was a keen listener, understood the weight of the matter, expressed experience with similar litigation and was in fact the only Attorney that did not shy away from taking over the case. He confidently did and in a matter of weeks my brother was freed from the ICE custody. Apart from that, he was agreeable to installment payments for his fees. What else can one ask? I will recommend him for anyone looking for a superb immigration law guru.
