On April 8, 2017, my husband and I received a letter from USCIS stating that his application for Adjustment of Status had been denied. After 2 years of going through medicals, paying so much out of pocket, and interviews, we were not sure what to do. Since we live in a small town, we decided to go to... Although it took some time because of the USCIS office, I am happy to say that my husband has received his Green card as of April 9, 2019. There were times I called the office crying and found myself ready to give up, but if it were not for Mr. Malik and his staff, we would not have made it this far. One thing I would like to say about the interview process is that before we went in, I can still remember Mr. Malik joking with us so that we could loosen up; and as we spoke, I was able to get to know him as a person.
