Victor M. Feraru

After getting a response from Mr. Feraru to a question I asked here, I reached out to Victor to discuss further. He offered to assist me for a very reasonable fee. I accepted, and he promptly sent me a proper letter of engagement, outlining his fee and exactly what I expected him to do. He did exactl...y that, however due to a court issue (clerks office was closed when he got there), he had to go back a second time. This incurred him twice the amount of time he originally expected. Surprisingly, he didn’t immediately ask for additional money. I know how things work, and he was spending his time not due to his error, so I offered to compensate him. Which I did. All in all, I got what I needed, and even with the additional time spent I consider the fee I paid as very reasonable. I would not hesitate to engage Mr. Feraru again.

Attorney Feraru is straight out of a movie. I posted a question on Avvo about a letter I received from the Department of Homeland Security's TSA division that I was under investigation and could owe $26,000 if found guilty. Attorney Feraru immediately reached out to help and spent hours going over... the details, reaching out to his network (the guy who wrote the TSA manual) and wrote 4 different drafts of my letter until he decided to simply tell the TSA that no law was broken, which was true. They were just racially profiling me. The TSA was going to prosecute (their attorney told him) until Attorney Feraru made several phone calls and wrote a letter breaking down their case and convincing them they had nothing. He also kept me up to date with very pleasant and empathetic phone calls throughout. He's someone I could see myself becoming friends with, and I never thought I'd say that in a sentence involving a lawyer. They don't make them like this anymore. It's clear that his incredible life history, being on both advantaged and disadvantaged sides of the system, has contributed to his ability to keep his soul intact while being part of this profession. We won. The TSA threw the case out, and I didn't bankrupt myself fighting them. Attorney Feraru is now my point of contact for any future legal work of a similar nature. If you're reading this and considering hiring him, do it. You'll be in incredible hands.

Victor is a true example of a lawyer any client would want to hire. Not only his level of expertise and knowledge more than suitable to attack any case that his client needs representation for, but what sets him apart is his genuine empathy and personal conviction he possesses in his zeal to avoid h...is client getting taking advantage of by the judicial system itself. His clarity and transparency in how we explains his strategy for defense is refreshing. A client can expect when working with victor to feel free to ask any "dumb question" they feel because to victor, there isn't such thing as dumb question. This is important as not all lawyers carry this same sentiment and do not create a judgement free foundation for a client lawyer relationship. I was fortunate to have found Victor. I had a matter of concern, that although may have seemed small compared to other cases, it was extremely important to me. The minute I picked up the phone on my first call to Victor, I felt like I found the right guy. He almost immediately made me feel like my c...oncern was among his strongest specialties. I must say that I have never felt in better hands than I have with Victor. He not only showed his experience and expertise, but he showed a level of humanity that you don't often find in people these days. Yes, he indicated that the problem that I needed help with is something he specializes in, but he made it very obvious that he cared about my problem, and since I don't know him personally, that indicates to me that he has a general level of caring about other people, and I would venture to say that this man is dedicated to helping other people, especially if he helped me, without knowing me other than from what I told him about myself and my situation. He followed up with me on a very regular basis to keep me apprised of the status and progression of the process relating to my case. Yes I've had to employ the services of council in the past, and I've never had this level of attention. In the past I've had to pray that my lawyer would answer the telephone, and/or return my calls. This was not the case with Victor. I never had to call him, because he called me to keep me informed each step of the way. This was very human of him and very comforting to me. My case was very important and personal to me, and he made me feel like I wasn't alone, and I instantly felt I couldn't have found a better guy . He was caring, compassionate, thorough, an incredibly generous with his time. Certainly, I could not have spoken on my own behalf in this case, so therefore it was obvious that I needed representation. The end result, was that he presented a solution to my problem and delivered it with profound effectiveness. I would recommend Victor to anyone.
