Less than 1 star

Scattered, disorganized - literally answered one of my questions before hearing with “I don’t know”. Lost thousands in legal fees and ended up worse using her. She was wishy-washy and I ended up doing most of the legwork in my case which is still unresolved after seven years. I filed pro se and won m...ore motions than she did.

Dear Anonymous, Thank you for sharing your feedback. I'm sorry your experience didn't match your expectations. It was an uncommon instance. Had the post not been anonymous, I could address the concerns in a more educated fashion. I have not engaged in private practice since 2019, so to see this post is surprising since I have not had any paying clients. Nevertheless, I wish you the best of luck in the future.

I do not recommend Uswah Khan, Esq.

I do not recommend Uswah Khan, Esq. as she did not show up for hearings. I wish I had hired someone else as she seemed intimidated and went along with the opposition.

It is unfortunate that this anonymous reviewer had this experience, especially since for the past two years Attorney Khan has been working at a Probono legal center. I would contest the validity of the post given the date listed on the review.

khan!!!!!

Was very pleased with the hard work and dedication counselor Kahn put forth in getting a ridiculous court order overturned. Highly recommend counselor Kahn's services and wouldn't hesitate to aquire in future if needed.

Very unhappy

Attorney Khan accepted without dispute the demands of the other side. She seemed confused and intimidated. I also doubt she spent the amount of time she billed me for because she was completely unprepared. I wish I'd had someone else represent me. I was very unhappy with her work.

We're sorry you had a bad experience with our firm. This matter does not sound familiar, and we strive for the utmost client satisfaction in every case. It is my practice to thoroughly review every agreement with each client. I would not let a client sign an agreement they did not understand and fully agree to. When we are presented in front of the judge, I ask the client if they are satisfied with the agreement and with my advice. The judge further reviews the agreement to ensure it is fair and equitable under the circumstances. Had the client addressed concerns to me during negotiations, this could have been avoided. Communication is key.

Extremely trustworthy

I had dealt with couple of attorneys prior to giving my case to Attorney Uswah and unfortunate to say I found my some of the attorney's were working out with the opposite parties without my knowledge. I am very lucky to meet up with Uswah as I found her a very honest person to be an honest attorney w...here one could walk into the court room with confident with her.
