Outstanding

If you’re looking for an attorney with reasonable prices who works hard for your money, Tami Ratliff is the one for you. She’s honest, understanding, and compassionate. She represented me with my divorce and was able to get me full custody of my children.

Once a thief...?

It saddens me to see people, who work hard for what they have and fall upon hard times, as we all experience. What more saddening, is the exploitation of these people, DURING their difficult time, by attorney's who've been hired to protect our rights as American citizens, under constitional law. Atto...rney's are paid for what they consider a "job," just as if they were going to Firestone to manufacture tires every day. Instead, we as citizens, are coerced into "buying into" whatever deal we're presented with and most times, in an effort to uphold the personal agenda of our legal counsel, who is concerned with pushing this client out the door to open a seat for the next lucky lucky exploited. While in the process of hiring an attorney, I read reviews because word of mouth is the best advertisement tool we have; it is also the worst advertisement tool for those with less than ethical intentions. Based on the reviews I've read and the personal testimonies of people I've spoken with, it sounds as if the judicial system may need to reconsider their decision to allow this type of conduct to remain in legal practice. Sifting through the madness to find a quality attorney is utterly exhausting.

Do not waste your money!!

At first, she was great filed all the needed motions and seemed very sure of herself. Until my husband hired his attorney which happened to be her mentor and I was told by a friend she was turned down by the same attorney because it would be a conflict of interest if she was opposing lawyer because '..." she taught her everything she knows" never mentioned to me only by my ex who was aware. She filed restraining orders and motions for him to pay me legal fees and spousal support due to the cheating and abuse. promises I would be reimbursed for all the repairs I had to make to our home that his renter/girlfriend caused. Never happened. I gave her so much evidence of domestic violence pictures and text and voicemails. She never used any of it. He never paid a dime of what I lost. She canceled every single hearing ever scheduled and there was like 5. Never even had to answer one question and turned the motion to enforce to get some of my money returned into the final hearing. Oh, and when I exited the elevator in the courthouse she was sitting and carrying on with his attorney and him and after she did absolutely nothing but con me, she stayed behind to chat with them some more after I left courtroom. Very embarrassing and I believe disrespectful to say the least. I paid all my own court costs, and she dropped the spousal support and restraining order first thing and she never even pulled a financial discovery to see what we had and was allowed to sell all our furniture and belongings we left in the home when we moved abruptly due to abuse. she also wrote special clauses in the divorce where all our debts were separate the day we separated. THATS IN NO WAY THE LAW. or in my best interest at all. I could go on and on at the mistakes and lack of interest in my situation and obviously had better things to do. She even offered to send an ac repair man to fix the ac that all the parts were lifted off of before I took possession of our home. Told me to bat my eyelashes at him and she would get me a deal. Anyway, she is a crappy lawyer and is lazy!!! Didn't lift a finger or even make a call I had to do it. She sent a few emails to her MENTOR that said let's get this one done and gone!! She sent that to me. PROMISES PROMISES!!!!BS!!!!Run!!!!!! And my ex actually recommended her to his friend in a cps case! Just WOW!

Hired

The most experienced (20 plus yrs) yes I did my digging. Also, I seen the little bad things people have said on some reviews on here when clearly they did not get their way or came out on the other end. Every case is different obviously if you do your research on these peoples comments that are negat...ive you will see why they said what they did. It hurts me to see such a wonderful attorney get bashed and talked about so ugly over something untrue and more than likely it’s someone just trying to get their money back. Ratliff gave me the best rates, the best advice and help I have ever been offered by an attorney. I came out on top and honestly I didn’t think I would. If we would have lost my case, I still would have given her a five star rating because she was so amazing in every way! Loved working with her. God bless this woman. She was truly heaven

Amazing

The absolute best divorce attorney in the town of Abilene area!!!!!! Ms. Ratliff had fenominal prices and she did my consult from from home.!!!!!!! I was so shocked about the PRICES and her helping me from home AND being so genuine about my issues. Then clearing my case in one hearing I will ...forever be grateful and recommend this amazing attorney to anyone who needs a even-handed price and requires help fighting a maximal case. This woman knows the law and is the most honest attorney I know as well.
