Speeding Ticket in Virginia Case Dismissed Represented by R. Dean

I got a speeding ticket in VA for going 87 in a 75 mph zone (it was a very steep hill and we live in a very flat area of MD). Being from MD, I did not realize that anything over 80 could result in a felony misdemeanor conviction and a fine up to $2,500+. Chose Rob Dean out of the slew of solicitati...ons I received and I am glad I did. Mr. Dean was extremely reasonably priced and always responded to my e-mails quickly and professionally. I did not have to attend court and my charge was dismissed completely. I was fortunate to have a clean driving record and although Mr. Dean did not necessarily think it was necessary, I did complete a Driver Improvement Program. Both my driving record and certificate of completion were presented to the Court. Again, can not express strongly enough that Mr. Dean was professional and competent and made the process proceed smoothly.

Truly an amazing lawyer!

Rob Dean truly is a great lawyer. He's very professional, personable, honest and does as he says. I was never once blindsided by the possibilities i was facing. It was great having someone be so honest and laying everything on the table for me since day one. He was available anytime i had a question ...or concern, he was prompt on returning emails, phone calls or text messages, and he answered any and all questions i had with complete honesty and knowledge. He has very fair rates. He was very helpful, full of knowledge, seasoned, honest and did his best to avoid jail time for me ( he succeeded), and most of all he was very nice to me and my family the entire time. I was truly honored to have him as my defense attorney. If you're in any kind of legal trouble I was contact Rob Dean, he's one of the best and I recommend him to any and everyone. Thank you so much Mr. Dean for everything and for working so diligently on my case and in keeping me out of jail. Thanks to you the case was dismissed and no time in jail!!

Misdemeanor Charge

For the first time in my life I found myself in a situation that was not even my fault. Due to a faulty DSS paperwork, apparently I had a protective order on me that I did not know, because of not so nice guy I was put in the middle of a situation. I went to purchase a fire arm 3 years later to get a... call from a state trooper who wanted to charge me with a felony. I was so scared, I didn't know what to do. So the state trooper told me I needed to get the protective order dropped first, I did get that completed when DSS was quick to get this matter cleared up. The judge was quick to tell me that I needed to hire an attorney to get the misdemeanor that the trooper reduced it down to, cleared up. I contacted Rob Dean and he contacted me almost immediately, he told me how much u was surprised that it wasn't more, but very greatful. He didn't have to change the court date and was very helpful and fighting for me to have the charges dropped and to expunged it off my record like it never happened. I am so glad that I had him in my corner and I will recommend him to anyone that is in trouble. He listens, he is compassionate, and very affordable. 5 stars to Attorney Rob Dean.

Reckless driving ticket

Rob Dean helped me reduce my Reckless Driving ticket in Virginia to a speeding infraction. I was helping a friend move back to Texas and didn’t realize the strict laws and penalties in Virginia for going over 80 mph. I was planning on skipping the court date and paying the fine, like most states allo...w. However, once I began receiving letters from attorneys in Virginia, I began researching and realized that not having representation in the court would mean a class C misdemeanor on my record and a large fine. After speaking with a few attorneys and looking through online reviews, it became clear that Rob was the only option I had when factoring in pricing (he has a reasonable flat fee) and overall ratings. When I spoke with him, my mind was at ease because he not only knew the judges by name at the specific court my case was in, but also spoke about his background as a prosecutor. He was transparent throughout the entire process and kept me updated. His office took care of notifying the courts that they would be representing on my behalf. I would recommend him to anyone in a similar situation who isn’t an expert in Virginia law.

Unprofessional. Not a man of his word. Will waste your time.

I hired Mr. Dean to represent me for a petty larceny case. He was supposed to send me the paperwork so he can replace my public defender. He never sent that email. I did not have the full $500 up front to retain him but I offered him $470 in cash and to pay him the rest at a later date. He complained... about $30. He told me he will speak to the prosecutor to examine the evidence and get in touch with me by 02/03/2017. So I called that following monday simce I have not heard anything back. I told the secretary that Mr. Dean was supposed to contact me that friday and he did not. I asked his secretary if Mr. Dean spoke to the prosecutor yet. She could not give me a clarified answer. She kept on making excuses for him for not being able to contact me on that friday. I told both, her and Mr. Dean, that this is a serious matter to me because it is affecting my future employment. I asked if Mr. Dean could give me 5-10 min of his day to call me to clarify on what his secretary meant. I was working in a warehouse at the time I was speaking to the secretary so because of the noise she thought I was angry with her, in which I was not. Mr. Dean went did not hear the conversation but took her word that I was being rude. He then used my past charges against me to condemn me or judge me for the person I am. Although all those charges he spoke of were dismissed or nolle prosecui, he still seem like he was judging me. He wasted my time and refunded me my money since he said I was being rude. I even offered to apologize to the secretaty fornthis misunderstanding but he wouldn't allow me. He was also cursing and trying speak to me as a parent does his child. He would not even LISTEN to my side of the story. He was vey unprofessional and if he have called to tell me he needed more time to talk to the prosecutor then I would've been okay with that. I know my opinion or comment may not pull much weight but I had to let my side ofnthe story be heard since he would notneven give me the chance to explain. I wasted time that I can not get back and have to find another lawyer on short notice. When he saw my record, I think he already had his mind of what type of person I was although he do not know the full story behind those charges. To me, a lawyer is not supposed to be judgemental to their client.
