David has assisted my family in two separate child custody cases. One was for physical custody of my husband's daughter. I have hired David to help me with multiple cases. In fact my entire family uses him. He represented me in a custody case that I had 2 lawyers previously not be able to help me. Last year I made a terribly irresponsible decision and attempted to drive home after an evening of catching up with old friends at a local bar. Long story short I was arrested and charged with DUI and a bad one at that. I did not wreck and I did not harm anyone but my BAC was above .15 which is very ...bad in the eyes of the law and calls for some severe punishments. I decided on having David Robinson represent me on the charges and it is easily one of the best decisions I have ever made. David was very honest and up front about the potential punishment I could receive but was also very convincing and confident that everything would be ok. During the months leading up to my court date David and his team stayed in contact with me and kept me up to date on everything that was happening and kept me prepared for every possible outcome. When my day in court finally came I was able to walk out of the court room a free man. A little lighter in the wallet and with several months of obligations to fulfill for the courts but much better off than I would have been with any other Attorney. He was able to have me convicted of a 1st time DUI ( which it was) with a BAC of .08 and had my fines reduced to the mandatory minimum. If it wasn't for sentencing guidelines that could not be avoided I believe David would have had my sentence reduced even more. Not once did I feel like I didn't deserve punishment for my DUI but everyone makes mistakes and shouldn't always lose everything they have or have their lives ruined over a poor decision that was completely out of character. David Robinson without a doubt is one of the best Attorneys in the region and goes above and beyond for his clients in and out of the court room. I will never use another Attorney as long as he is practicing.
