A kind heart

Lauren helped me no one else would give me a chance. I had a labor dispute with a former employer and I had contacted about 50 other lawyers in the San Diego or Los Angeles area. Most of them would look into my case, but because there wasn't as strong of evidence OR there wasn't enough money in the c...ase to be made, they turned me away. Could you imagine what it's like for someone who is currently homeless and was financially wronged by a company but is now robbed of his/her rights because they weren't "worth the money" or "time"? Looking back, it probably wasn't worth my time either, but I had been living in my car and the $1500 or so I would end up settling for later would have been a lot of help. The fact is, it was the principle and that company's wrong had been the catalyst of the most catastrophic downhill period of my life. Even if this doesn't mean squat to the company or to other lawyers, it meant a lot to me and Lauren took the time and was patient enough to listen to me and pursue the case. I probably lost some money as well in the case but I think she empathized about how I felt and decided to take me on. It took about a year and half or two for things to finally go through but from start to finish, I felt as if Lauren had held my hand all the way through. There was never an e-mail that I sent that wasn't answered promptly/professionally or concern left unaddressed. Lauren was there for me when no one else was and that is something that I did not find in other lawyers. Lauren genuinely cares and you can feel it in your interaction with her and the way she takes the time to listen. I appreciate everything she's done for me and would highly recommend her to anyone else seeking law services. Thank you Lauren!!
