Biography
Katherine Wu is a Bay Area attorney with experience in family law, business law, and general civil litigation. She is dedicated to providing each client with clarity and peace of mind. Katherine holds herself to high standards of professionalism and quality of service.
An active member of the Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area, she is currently a Co-Chair of its Solo & Small Firms Committee.
Katherine previously worked as an associate at family law firms in San Francisco and Walnut Creek, as well as a general civil litigation firm in Oakland. She has also performed contract work for a boutique business and aviation law practice in San Francisco.
Katherine earned her J.D. at the Emory University School of Law. During law school, Katherine held legal internships at the Barton Child Law and Policy Center, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the Center for Medicare Advocacy, the Georgia Appleseed Center for Law and Justice, and the Atlanta Legal Aid Society.
Prior to her time at Emory, Katherine earned her B.A. at the University of Southern California, where she studied biological sciences and gerontology.
Outside the practice of law, Katherine enjoys playing piano, staying fit, and cooking, as well as spending time with friends and family.
