Hands down Ilona is the best lawyer I had a chance to deal with ! Not only very professional in what she is doing but a person with a great heart and soul, which makes her even more priceless ! So many years of incompetent service of other lawyers put me in a spot when everything seemed impossible t...o change . Ilona is the true professional in every sense of the word. In my opinion, she is what a real practitioner of the law swears in to be. Let me explain what I mean. Handling an immigration case for a client is a very delicate matter that bears a ton of responsibility. One simple mistake and the perso...n's fate is sealed (oftentimes, in a terrible way). By definition, an immigration lawyer is not the one who merely fills in the required forms and mails the package to the designated address to allow a US CIS officer to take it from there. This is a paralegal's territory. A true immigration lawyer approaches a case as if it is a "murder case" with no evidence left behind and relying only on her talent, deep knowledge of law, and ability to intuit, sleuth and deduce. An that is what Ilona does, and that is what she did for me. She was able to successfully resolve my case (a virtually impossible case, I should note) of changing status from M-1 to B-1 and then to F-1, after which I was able to obtain my green card. I highly recommend this brilliant and hard working lawyer to anyone with any immigration situation, complicated or not. Trust me, there is always a way to solve a case, even the most deadbeat ones.
